but that makes no sense.. if it spits then it doesn't need to be sucked out. Although venom and poison are used interchangeably it actually refers to how it gets into a vessel. Poison is something that is consumed whereas venom is injected... so a plant is poisonous, but a snake bite is venomous.

Aha but see this is wherein the fallacy lies. For you see the Homotroserias serpentis or to use layman's terms trouser snake actually is quite capable of either injecting venom or spitting out poison. How you may ask? Well let's examine the physiology of our organism in question. No you see the attacked, as she claimed although there is high speculation as to the claim of her innocence, decided to taste the trouser snake. This is a common practice because it will eventually calm the beast. The animal needs lots of petting and reassurance for it can be a timid creature. And as stated before handle with care.
