    Not to derail the thread, but being German and Polish, we REALLY get into sausage and beer. lol. A fave Polish cheer we had at games is "Ooh-sa-sa-sa! Ooh-sa-sa-sa! Hit ’em in the head kielbasa!". Another G'ma gem, but I only recall the English saying of it. My Polish is even sketchy-er.

    What I'm most impressed with is how they can walk around and ride bikes eating brats and stuff and never spill anything on them

    You should see my IG account :)

    Sure. Someone post s meme of a person waving a sausage and everyone laughs. I wave my sausage around and I am arrested and not allowed at Sonics anymore.

    Panera Bread would have understood and not have called the cops.

    @MeeseeksAndDestroy fact check?

    @caco_ethes You have kind of been speaking German all this time.

    For us Germans, sausage is life, so while it doesn't make sense to the world, it makes sense to us. My G'ma used to say something similar about "everything can go but the sausage" but I don't know the German wording anymore.

    Maybe: Alles kann gehen, aber die Wurst

    I saw that in a Google search i just did, and it is close I guess, but she said it different. I remember go was actually conjugated geht, as 'it goes' I think. So it starting 'Alles geht...then something, something Wurst rings a bell. ???

    My German is sketchy anymore.

    My G´ma used to say "Alles hat ein Ende, nur die Wurst hat zwei" translates as "Everything has an end only the sausage has two (ends)". Maybe that´s the wording you´re searching for?
