    I'm iffy on them myself. I like hot oatmeal, and the cold chewiness of overnight oats kind of reminds me of soggy paper. I can definitely see why people like them, they're just not for me.

    I use the technique to make a bowl ahead of time if I won't have time to cook the on the stove in the morning, which is my preference. I nuke them 1 min in the evening to get the absorption started and 1-2 in the morning to finish cooking and reheat.

    I like mine cold but then I add nuts and fruit to complement the chewiness.
