Aiming for the Dream

I'm aiming for the impossible in hopes of reaching the probable. I have things pushing back against me. I know the standard model is CICO, but that pathway is twisted in my body with several hiccups. I have PCOS. I have to be on lithium, so there goes my thyroid. I also have to be on clozaril which messes with things as well causing weight gain as well weight-loss resistant. Because of these things I have no idea what my BMR is versus what it should be at this point. I have strategies for dealing with the obstacles, but it's mostly just guess work and I am going to have weeks that don't pan out as well as others. That's okay. I am going to keep dreaming that I can do this and will do this, no, am doing this. I don't care how long it takes to get all this weight off, but I will.

That sounded very complicated and not very uplifting. Have you considered logging your food intake meticulously, and weighing yourself regularly, over a long time, and thus being able to extrapolate your TDEE? Unless you're under some spell that defies laws of nature, you too will lose weight when you eat below your TDEE for long enough.2
