Girl Scouts' Cookies

I was out of control last year with GS cookies. Since that time, I have allowed other treats/cookies into my diet that taste as good or better. Therefore, I think I will pass on the GS cookies this year or I will wait until the last weekend they are selling to buy a couple of boxes. Then I know I won't be able to get anymore.0

I went crazy on cookies this year. My region generally gets cookies from Little Brownie Bakers which makes your standard Samoas and Tagalogs. For the last two years though, I've had a "connection" to someone with access to the cookies that ABC bakers makes. Far superior. Their S'Mores cookies are divine (much better than the Little Brownie Bakers S'Mores). This year was the first year I've had Lemonades. I love a lemon cookie and this one doesn't disappoint. Very elegant cookie. I want to try the Thank You's also. So I think all by myself I ate two boxes of Samoas, two boxes of S'Mores, and one box of Lemonades. Yes, I have gained all my weight back.
Someone upthread was complaining about the Tagalogs. My coworker had the same complaint this year.1 -
Thin Mints, right out of the freezer. Yeah. It's tough to leave room in my calories for a full 1-sleeve serving, but I'll try.1

Well, after all the reminiscing about Girl Scout Cookies in March, I have come back to MFP to try once again and make the life style changes. Lord help me on this and your support might bring me around. On this final note, I don't think I will ever buy a box for myself, because I know me! I will maybe instead buy the box and give it to the girl who's selling. My problem is not being able to handle eating in moderation....the threat is too great when it's in the home.0

The girls that are selling have way too many around their house. You can buy a box and the Girl Scouts will send it to the US military. Or keep the middleman (cookie manufacturer) and just give the Scout a $5 cash donation for their troop.1 -
And here I was thinking girl scout cookie time came REALLY early this year!1

Sorry Glassyo for getting your hopes up high. Cookie time hasn't arrived yet, but getting back to shed the pounds are!0

What gets me is that I binge. So I had bought raspberry rolls for my husband. Turned out it was too sugary for him. So I had to (my mentality) finish it over a course of 3 days. Needless to say, I could have been eating good food and putting it in the diary rather than just days of raspberry rolls. lol My husband states it is better to throw in the trash rather than trash my body. He has a point!0

Pffft, they are awesome, especially the thin mints. I just find a way to fit them into my calories for the day. Everything in moderation1
