I'm wanting to go on a low-carb diet and I need help or suggestions on Foods. I've already lost 43 pounds doing what I've been doing but I want to try the low-carb thing. Please help....

Low carb can be any daily carb goal under 150g a day. Just curious why you want to change if you have already lost 43 pounds doing what has been working for you? Unless you are diabetic or have insulin resistance (some with PCOS) there are no weight loss advantages to low carb.

    I had the same question.

It would be helpful if you could provide more details on why you want to go low carb. Are you having particular health issues? Has your weight loss stalled and you're looking to shake things up a bit? Are you bored with the way you're eating and want a change? What's your diet like now so we can determine where you can make changes/substitutions? Stuff like that.

Why make dieting harder if it’s been working for you? It’s likely if you’ve stalled that you’ve unknowingly because lax on watching what you eat. Little things that you did when you started but have slowly stopped being strict about can add up to create a stall especially since the calories you need go down as you lose weight. Recalculate your calories and see if that helps.

Good for you! I lost 45 pounds too before I started eating low carb. I pretty much just base my meals around meat and vegetables and I'm good to go so not sure how helpful that is for you. But the low carb group is worth joining - you'll find lots of resources and friendly people willing to help. Best wishes.

    How low carb?

There is a vast difference in regards to what you can eat on low carb vs keto which is extremely low carb.

    Try the group mentioned above:
    http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/group/394-low-carber-daily-forum-the-lcd-group

A number of members have open diaries or are willing to add friends. There is usually a support and recipe thread going at any given time.

And congrats on your success so far. :)
