Yes, this is hard and I can sometimes feel like the weight is never going to come off, but one thing that I have learned is that if I stick with it, it does eventually come off. I have to continue to log my food, and exercise. I also have to be ok with the weight coming off slowly. This is the longest I have ever stuck with MFP so I'm happy about that. This week's goal is to exercise. I missed all of last week and that can't happen again.
2/27: 154.3
2/28: 153.1 I guess I can only look back and see that I still weight less than when I first started. This is getting
hard but I have to keep telling myself that I'm not on a diet. The weight will come off if I eat good whole
foods, track what I eat, and move my body. I have to get my timeline out of my head so I don't get
frustrated.

Goals for this round: track all calories, water, sodium, and steps; also lose 3 lbs.
Day/Weight/Comment
2/27 - 191.6 (not a good start), net calories burned ~ 1000, water (5 glasses), sodium -1670, 11,800 steps. could use more water, otherwise ok.
2/28 - 190.4 (back to 2/26 weight), about 1100 calorie deficit, 64 oz water, sodium - 2706, 11,900 steps. I'm starting to think my calories burned are a bit on the high side -- I'm relying on what my fitbit is telling me.
3/1 - 190.0 - good!, deficit ~ 1100, 56 oz water, sodium ~ 2138, 12,900 steps
3/2 - 189.8 - got up around 5 am, weighed 191, couldn't go to work due to weather, went back to bed, woke up 4 hours later, and weighed 189.8. Not sure why that happens -- is it me processing the previous day or is it my scale trying to decide what number to display. there's not much I can do about it, but it's good to know THAT can happen. Calorie deficit ~1500, 56 oz water, very few steps due to weather (~3,000), but mangaged to ride stationary bike for about an hour, plus 1 Jillian Michaels DVD.
3/3- 188.8 (after sleeping in a bit) weather is looking better, hope to get in a nice walk. Rested most of the day, deficit ~ 500 calories, water- not good, sodium-1641. Few steps
3/4 - 188.0 - deficit ~ 1500, 56 oz water, sodium 1793, 13,400 steps
3/5 - 188.2 - so far day is ok for eating and walking. Salt's not looking good though

Goal: Release 2 lbs per round to reach onederland by Memorial Day weekend.
Ultimate Goal: 175 lbs, reevaluate at that point
February
27: 215.8... I'm glad for sustaining this, even if it's only been for 2 days in a row. I've now lost 15 pounds since Christmas, and half of that since starting this challenge. Food, exercise, and water were good yesterday. Today I drove past 4 gas stations that have espresso/latte machines. I love the drinks, and they aren't high in calories or carbs as long as I skip the extra flavoring. Coffee at home is cheaper and healthier though. Each station that I passed, I told myself to just hold off and if I really wanted a latte I could wait until the next station. I made the 40 mile drive without stopping and made my bulletproof coffee as soon as I got home.
28: 215.7... I'll take it! Walked for over an hour yesterday. It was 54°F, which is crazy for February in Wisconsin! I'm glad I got to get out and enjoy it. Water, food, and sodium all good.
March
1: 215.3... Slow & steady. All good yesterday, and prelogged for today. I have an old college friend visiting, so I'm not sure I'll get much exercise in.
2: 215.6... Normal fluctuation. I was a little low on my 100oz water goal, but I did find time to get a solid walk in while my daughter was in gymnastics.
3: I forgot to check in this day! Weight was 216.4. Not sure about the increase, but not concerned after the March 4th weigh in.
4: 214.5... Yesterday was a rest day. I unintentionally ate 1300+ calories instead of 1680 plus had an extra deficit according to my Fitbit activity adjustment.
5: 214.8... Normal fluctuation, I think. I switched my MFP weekly weight loss goal from 1 pound to 1.5, and my calories dropped from 1680 to 1400. Today is my second day with this. I'll try it for a week or so, and change it back if it feels off.

I’m in! Third round and I love it. I’m learning that my partner and I eat out a lot during the weekend, and it’s this eating out during the weekend that unravels all the effort I put in during the week. I’m disappointed about that but theres no point dwelling on the past. All I can do is learn from my experience and improve from there.
2/27 – 66.9kgs. Yes! The bloat is gone (hopefully all). New goal for end of Round 33 : 65.9kgs
2/28 – 66.7kgs. Slowly going down..
3/1 – 66.7kgs
3/2 – 66.6kgs. Slowly but surely…700grams to go for the next 6 days.
3/3 – 66.4kgs
3/4 – 66.5kgs
3/5 – 66.4kgs : Yay! Not an improvement on weight loss, but it’s a huge improvement - especially after eating out all weekend, I didn’t gain a kilo like I normally would have.
3/6 – 65.7kgs. Exceeded my goal of 65.9kgs, but met my original goal from 2 rounds ago ( I wanted to lose 1kg each round)! New goal for end of R33 will be 65.5kgs.

3/4 - 54 - I ate some sweets quite late last night (and drank just a few little cups of tea throughout the day), so I'm not surprised OR upset! I'll be back on track in a day. Probably! I've already survived a week without a single gram lost, so there's nothing to worry about.
3/5 - 54 - Oh, well, I have to admit, I feel slightly depressed these days, and the only coping mechanism I know—rather the only one that works for me—is to eat something sweet, so I keep doing that. I still eat not much, less than 1200 kcal per day, but there probably won't be any progress any time soon, sadly! However, to be honest, I don't really enjoy eating as a way to cope with stress, so it seems I will put an end to this activity soon, too. I do enjoy food more when it's cooked in different ways and when it's healthy. Otherwise it gives a short-lasting feeling of relief, and when it ends there's literally nothing left. I'm not sure why I am stuck with this habit.9 -

Our 10-day drive from Oregon to Indiana via the Southwest followed by more time in a motel and eating out plus beginning the search for a house has made me want comfort food & junk I haven't eaten in 3 years. This round I'm trying to just be aware, and when I do eat stuff I don't normally touch, to acknowledge why I'm doing it. If I can finish this round no more than 2 pounds over by last weigh in, that will be fine. Better will be to finish where I was -- 146.8 at the end of R31. Then back to actually paying attention & losing.
Goals this round - Replace my scale, and finish round no higher than my last weigh in of 146.8.

Day/Weight/Comment
2/27 - no scale
Haven't replaced my sale yet, still living in motel because our stuff hasn't arrived. Sigh. Trying to eat properly. No idea about my weight, but I did buy size 10 jeans tonight, so there's that!
2/28 - no scale
See yesterday (without the jeans).
3/1 - no scale
I'm finding myself wanting to eat junk I haven't bothered with in 3 years. Still in the motel, movers apparently aiming for the last day of their delivery window. Sigh. I'm going to try at least to get a scale tomorrow to I can see how much damage I've done over the past 13 days.
3/2 - no scale
I didn't get to the scale store but I ate better today, and burned a bunch of calories driving around for hours (house hunting). Still in the motel, but the mover will finally be here Tues. and I can get back to my usual programming.
3/3 - no scale
Same old, same old. I did get some exercise. Other than driving - we went walking in a park this morning and this afternoon we walked all over the home & garden show. I'm eating within bounds, though not as healthy as I usually do. Three more nights in the motel, and then we can get back to normal. It's been a long 15 days.
3/4 - no scale
I thought about picking up a scale today, but decided not to fight Sun. afternoon shoppers. Tomorrow for sure. I seem to have satisfied my junk food splurge, and am back to healthier eating (considering we're still eating out). I'm looking forward to getting back to my normal routine - weigh in first thing, eat healthfully at home most of the time, walk. Who knew quiet routine would sound so appealing? Anyway, thanks for letting me record my thoughts here - it actually helps keep me mostly on track, and to understand when and why I'm not.
3/5 - nope
I bought a scale today, but it was after breakfast so I have not weighed in. Probably won't tomorrow as we're still in the motel, but tomorrow is (finally!) move-in day, so on Wed. morning I'll be able to check the damage of 2.5 weeks of eating out & staying in motels. I will be so glad to start eating at home!!! I'm pretty sure I'm up a few pounds, but also pretty sure some of it is water from all the restaurant food. I also look forward to getting more exercise, and less of it from driving!

I've got the cold so maybe it's dehydration? Or maybe the hard work I never saw the result of last round is finally kicking in... Fingers crossed for the second. Already past my goal weight for this round and only 300g off my revised goal!
03/01 - 62.9kg (+0.1) - YES! The loss is holding.
Tiny bump but whatever. I meal prepped on Sunday and took all my food to work. Then the snow came and now I'm working from home so all my good food is sitting 15 miles away in a communal fridge! Going to face the blizzard today to get some healthy stuff to avoid the trash my partner keeps in the house. Yesterday was hard work without my planned meals - I don't know how people manage to stay within their calories without prepping and planning!
03/02 - 62.5kg (-0.5kg) - Down down down!
Really feeling like I am making progress which is great. This is the lightest I've been in my adult life AND the closest I've been to goal weight, only 3.5kg to go. These 10 day challenges are amazing to keep focused, thank you all so much! Revising my goal weight for the round again. Looking forward to a big salty dinner tonight so not expecting the scale to be pretty tomorrow!
03/03 - 62.8kg (+0.3kg) - Expected bump, happy to still be under 63kg. Had a treat dinner and a couple of wines last night. Very enjoyable plus I closed off my diary on a Friday for the first time in... well, maybe ever haha. Winning.
03/04 - 63.5kg (+0.7kg) - It's a pizza and samosa baby!
I had a bit of a blow out late last night after the pub (oops) and was NOT looking forward to the scale this morning. Carbs and salt, that's all it is. TOM arrived as well. Happy though that my weekend high is still lower than my EW for last round Back on the wagon today and will be working hard to finish the round at about 62.5kg.
03/05 - 64.1kg (+0.6kg) - Well that was not a nice surprise! I'm not super concerned as my average calories over the last week are coming in under maintenance but still. Ouch. TOM as well. Staying the course.
03/06 - 63.2kg (-0.9kg) - Good riddance weekend water weight.
Can I get back down to my pre-weekend weight by the end of the round? I'll be trying my hardest that's for sure!

End of Round 32
25/02: 172.6 Holiday gain! No scale available and a week of the high life had consequences. Travelling all day yesterday, so poor hydration and high sodium in food will have pushed this up due to water retention.
26/02: 170.8 Goals ✅ Hydration still iffy yesterday. Today will be better. Hoping to start Round 33 below 170
Round 33 (Round 26 for me. Female, 5'2" aged 71, weight in lbs) GW: 168

I’m female, 42 years old, 5’8 and a runner training for a marathon.
Goal: ??
Day/Weight/Comment
2/27 62.5
2/28 62.2 after 8m run
3/1 62.7. Not surprised as I feel heavier today.
3/2 63.9!! After 8m run last night. This is depressing. I’m pretty much sticking to calories but not going over what I should to maintain, so why am I going back up? Is this normal?
Totally normal. The human body is complex, and weight can fluctuate by several lbs for no apparent reason. Look at the trend over time. If it's downward, you're doing fine.9 -
Neat mini challenge ideal. I am joining it late but it's better now than never..am I right.
3/4 SW=361.8 *Bought a new digital scale, set up my Samsung Health. Came in under budget on call. Super excited to finally get off the plateau.
3/5 SW=359.3 *Walked .8 of a mile today went to the park and back. 2nd day in a row I came in under my calories budget.12 -

2/27: 115.7kg/255.0lbs – This seems rather dramatic, if this doesn’t go up (too much) tomorrow I will be v v v happy. Feeling the best I have done in a long time, onwards and downwards. Cheers for all the support guys.
2/28: 115.6kg/254.8lbs - Praise the lord it's staying off. I have an interview for a new role tomorrow and I don't fit in my suit and shirts (WOO) I do fit into my smaller suit which I haven't fit in this well for the last 2 years!! So I am currently buzzing but extremely nervous, I really want this job! Wish me luck!

Round 12 for me .....
Round 22 start weight - 151.40
Round 23 start weight - 145.80
Round 24 start weight - 147.60
Round 25 start weight - 141.60
Round 26 start weight - 141.90
Round 27 start weight - 146.20
Round 28 start weight - 143.20
Round 29 start weight - 140.90
Round 30 start weight - 137.90
Round 31 start weight - 137.90
Round 32 start weight - 140.00
Loss to date - 12.6 lbs
Avg loss per round - 1.05lbs
Round 33 start weight - 138.80
Should be more focused for the whole of this round as no weekends away, no cheer competitions, no school holidays..........
R33 goal - 137lb
02/27 - 137.60lb down 1.2lb - think this is a post carb "whoosh!" from my Sunday morning hotel buffet breakfast! Was a good food day yesterday and walked 13,000 steps. No reason its not going to be another good day today - food all prepped and planned and gym session tonight. R33 target in sight
02/28 - 136.80lb another .80lb down. I seem to alternate between a round where I lose and then one where I don't - can only think its my body "settling" into its new weight - or something.... but whatever it is I'm happy today and hoping it carries on! And happy days have lost a stone on these challenges so far (14lbs for our non UK friends!) - so thank you everyone - this group, reading all your posts and "likes" spur me on! Happy Wednesday everyone
03/01 - 137.00 - 0.20lb up for no real reason - so will blame TOM's arrival! Food prepped and with me for work and all planned for tonight's dinner so looking good for today again
03/02 - 135.80lb down 1.2lb ???? No idea where the drops this round have come from - eating same as ever... will have to see if it sticks! Although when I entered my weight into MFP this morning it came up with a huge congratulations message as I had made my target weight!!!!! Must have set that target up about 2 years ago and to be honest had forgotten all about it till today Honestly don't think I've been this weight since I got married 17 years ago! Although I have reset to a lower target to even reach that is a real buzz - definitely going to keep me motivated
03/03 - 135.50lb - seriously. I seem to alternate between fab rounds and then losing almost nothing the next - this is my "losing round" by the looks of it. Not eating any differently to any other round - just weird how my body has such a "whoosh" seemingly unrelated to how I have eaten immediately before that. Goes to show that persistence is what pays off! Out for dinner date tonight with my husband so tomorrows weigh in unlikely to be so great but very rare that we get a night to ourselves so going to enjoy it!
03/04 - DNW. Got tea in bed this morning and I always weigh before I eat or drink anything so didn't bother! Tea in bed was far more appealing
03/05 - 138.20lb - not a real gain - my usual Monday morning weigh in is always up after our family Sunday roast dinners - ate later than normal too - and was complete with dessert. Was all within calories - just the timing and as usual didn't drink anywhere as much water over the weekend that I do in the week. Also ate out Saturday so sodium has played a part too - expect "normal" weights to return by Wednesday. Should be a good finish to this round.
03/06 - 136.80lb - half the weekend "whoosh". Hopeful for the rest by end of the round - would love to see 136lb or under by the end of R33.......
