Is it possible to edit serving sizes of foods already in database?

I’ve been seeing advice over and over about how important it is to weigh food in grams. I‘ve had an english muffin almost every morning recently and my choices of serving size in existing database entries are “one muffin” or “one package- 6 muffins”. There’s no grams listed in any of the entries I checked. I weighed my muffin this morning and it was 69g vs the claimed 62g on the package. Is it possible to change the serving size of an existing entry or do I have to create a new entry and enter the weight in grams? How can I ensure I have the option to select either one gram or 100 gram as the serving size (instead of an oddball number like 62g) to be able to easily edit it to be the amount actually consumed?

I looked at at least 4 Franz original english muffin entries and none of them have grams. I didn’t check the other varieties though...

If the database entry calories/nutrition is correct per muffin, use the calculator on your device to figure 69 ÷ 62 (grams in your serving ÷ grams in standard serving as per package).

Turns out 69 ÷ 62 = 1.11280323. Put in that you ate 1.1 (close enough) servings of 1 muffin. Voila, accuracy! ;)

When you create an entry in My Foods, you can put in an oddball number of grams for the serving size. When you enter the food, MFP will offer measurement choices of per serving or per gram since it was entered in grams. I enter foods into My Foods with whatever number of grams per serving are listed in the nutrition facts and then, when I record the food, change to the 1 gram increment and enter the weight.

I do my own entries in My Foods (without sharing them with the database) almost exclusively. It takes a while to set up but it's worth it because I know that the nutrition facts are entered correctly, I can customize the name, I can enter grams or ml for everything, and I can delete the food from My Foods if I wish.

Thank you, I didn’t realize that was an option!

    This...

Or in my case, I never bothered worrying about a few grams here or there and never weighed out packaged food like that...I always just logged the muffin as 1 muffin and I never had any issues.
