Hello everyone! My name is Danielle, I have type 2 diabetes, and am obese, but I am looking to change that this year! I've been researching the keto diet ever since a friend told me about it last November and finally made the commitment on February 26. Day 3 is almost done!

A little about me: I was born and raised in southern California, moved to eastern Utah in 2007, got married, got divorced, moved to England, did not get a visa to live, moved back to Utah, and rebuilt my life from nothing at that point. I also remarried to the love of my life who is my best friend and my biggest cheerleader. It's because of him I want to be a better, healthier, happier person. Well, I'm definitely happier, so I'm trying to be healthier.

I work in an office setting, so I have a mostly sedentary life. My treadmill recently broke down on me, so now I don't even have that option of exercise any more. I'm intimidated to go to a gym, so I try to use YouTube videos to keep some semblance of fit, but I still have been pretty lax on that front.

I love to read and have joined the GoodReads Reading Challenge for 2018. I'm currently on book 8 for the year. I also love to binge watch TV shows on Netflix, my favorite of all time being Friends. But my husband and I are watching (for the first time) Sons of Anarchy and love it. I have a cat named Cali who is my world. And I'm super organized! (Virgo here!)

I bullet journal my life, and keep track of it on Instagram (along with Cali at xDaniDragonflyx) and my nail art (at UtahNailPrincess). I get lost on Pinterest for hours and ride motorcycles with my husband in the warm months.

Please friend me to help me stay accountable!! :) Also because I'm not sure how to friend anyone! :)
