With all of the different ways to tone a mid-section now, what is the best way for an overweight person to tone/tighten up the mid section durung weight-loss? Sit-ups, crunches, or planking?

I get that. But the stomach doesn't just flatten itself during weight loss.

Why not do sit-ups, crunches and planking? Plus some leg raises, leg raise holds, squats, lunges, all that painful fun stuff...

Only doing one exercise is boring. Plus focusing on a single muscle group in the same way all the time will pull everything out of whack and result in injury.

Lose weight and your mid section tightens, thing is you can do those ab exercises and develop your mid section and still have a fat tummy.
