Essential oils smell great but they’re not magical cure all’s.
For scent I love aged Somalian frankincense. Thick, dark, Iron distilled patchouli is another favorite alone or blended, especially with rose geranium.0 -
I like the scent of eucalyptus, peppermint and lemongrass - not mixed together0

Lavender and Eucalyptus oil, 15 drops each in a 30ml bottle of carrier oil for muscle soreness. It is MAGIC. Don’t use lavender on kids and especially boys unless they’re past puberty.
For smell cinnamon and sweet orange in a diffuser is awesome.0 -

I put a few drops of frankincense on my wrist in the mornings. Makes me feel less punchy.

Wow, i actually have an honest question on this..I am looking for good combinations for Anxiety and ADHD to put in a necklace diffuser for my Daughter. I would love suggestions.
Yes..even the silly ones
I've done some research on this and found evidence supporting the following oils:
Vetiver
Melissa (lemon balm)
Rosemary
Peppermint
Eucalyptus
Cinnamon0 -
@pudgy1977 Lavender and clary sage is a nice combintion that I have heard is good for anxiety. NOW foods sells a few blends for uplifting the mood and mental focus. https://nowfoods.com/essential-oils Nice thing about NOW is that you can usually find them in your herbal remedy shops, Natural Grocers, and at GNC. I have found them to be as good as Young Living, and more readily available.0

Thanks you guys! Hoping something will give her some relief0 -
@pudgy1977 I just remembered something. I'm not very knowledgeable about the anxiety, but ADHD is something I have definitely experienced in my adult life. I was taking a supplement GNC sells that was meant for mental focus that contained krill fish oil. I actually noticed a difference in my concentration levels and mental focus. I quit taking it because it was getting expensive though. You might try finding a fish oil supplement with some other things aimed at mental clarity. Check those supplements for any interactions with any meds she's on though. (Essential oils included). For example, things like St. John's Wort and grape fruit can affect birth control pills and there could be other interactions you may find. Just do your research before jumping on anything. (Disclaimer: I'm not a doctor or a naturopath, but I've dabbled in herbal remedies along side modern medicine my whole life. If her ADD & Anxiety isn't manageable and is getting in the way of her day to day life, definitely talk to a doctor.)0

Yes, absolutely. She has been prescribed ADHD meds, but hates taking them. We have tried many avenues, and the oils seem to be the only thing she is satisfied with.1 -

Hopefully the oils help out then!0
