Problems logging food today

I haven't been able to log any of my food for the past 2 days from my laptop.0

As others have said, I can log by searching the MFP database, but not from "my recent" or "my frequent" tabs. The work around for that if you don't want to search the database and have to find a correct entry is to copy a past meal from your diary that contains the food you're looking for, and then delete any of the other foods in the copied that you don't want in today's meal. It's a bit of a pain, but to me it's easier than having to check the nutrition details on random entries in the database.0

same issue as the posts here. I am counting macros and it is hard to do without a good tool. Makes me want to stop my nutrition program or try to get my "premium" money back if I have to fight with the tracking tool this much. takes waaaay to much time to keep messing with the tool when I have to plan my day tomorrow, then pack my food.0

I've had issues on my laptop last two days. A lot of "server errors" when trying to add food. Been trying to add a picture today and same thing.0

This must have something to do with trying to fix the hacking. I have had problems for the last two days as well.0

There is currently a trifecta of semi-related issues affecting the Food Diary and syncing.
I doubt the proximate cause was the actual data breach, but more likely MFP's attempt to make some changes to strengthen the security of the site that has messed up their software coding.

Thank you for the links, that's very helpful! I haven't had logging issues but I haven't gotten a step adjustment from my Apple Watch since Friday (weirdly my steps appear to by syncing, though, and my workouts are coming through as usual). I'll check that announcement board and hope for a fix soon.1 -

Re populating the recent foods list seems to work moving forward.
It looks like previously cached entries are "gonners"
Copy part of the name of the food on your list and paste it in the search box.
Log it again from the results of this new database search.
Now you should be able to use it again from your cached (recent) entries list.
Apparently the old recipe maker (to the right of the screen when looking at the recipies page) is still working for those who are trying to meal prep and having trouble!

Have had zero problems with the phone app (I do all of my logging through there never through a desktop/website), so maybe that is a good workaround for those still having issues?0
