Beginning Weight Training

Hi all...
Currently coming off of Weight Watchers and back to MFP with the assistance of a nutritionist. Also trying to get back into the groove with working out while getting adjusted to my first full time teaching gig.
I’ll typically do 30 min circuit or kick boxing classes at the gym, but I’m finding when classes are at inconvenient times I don’t want to go to the gym at all because I’m lost in the weight room (not afraid, just lost).
I know these posts have happened a million times already, but does anyone have suggestions maybe for apps or websites with some manageable weight training routines? Looking to keep my workouts in the 30-45 min range.

Are there any coaches or anything at your gym that can at least show you how to use the equipment? The Ymca where I go has wellness coaches all day to help answer questions and give some guidance. I used it when I first joined on how to use certain machines.0

My advice would be to go to crossfit session or HIIT class as a PAYG in another gym/box, as they scale everything and you can pick up the correct way to do things under proper instruction. Everything is in the 30-45 minute range, and you can always use what you learn in your gym after. If the classes where you are going now are inconvenient, i'm guessing they may be free or limited. See if there are other gyms near work or home that have better times. Many Crossfit gyms have specific lifting classes.
At least there may be other people there who can help you with advice on how best to use the equipment if you want to go down that route.0 -
