Hi everyone
MFP has been great but it’s saying I should be eating 1,560 a day to loose 1.5lb a week, yet other websites are telling me I should eat only 1380 a day?? It’s also asking me about TDEE which I have no idea about.
Just some info I’m 20, female, 5’10 and weigh 80.5 kg
Thank you!!

if you want to use MFP, use MFP numbers, if you want to use a TDEE calculation then use another website.
pick a number, after 4-6 weeks tweak based on what the scales do.4 -
Go by the MFP numbers, or as others say, if you want to use the TDEE method then use another site.2
-
Just pick one and follow it for a few weeks and see what happens. If you don't lose the weight you want, lower your calories, if you do, keep following those numbers and if you lose too much go a bit higher2
-
If you're here, why are you going to other websites? MFP doesn't use TDEE, it uses NEAT. Given the questions you've been asking recently, I don't think it's going to help you right now to explain the difference. As others have said, pick one and go with it. See what your results are over a 4-6 week period. Adjust your numbers based on your results.
Also, read the posts in the link above.4
