May is a busy month for me as school ends at the end of it. I have 3 kids in 3 different schools so between Cheer, track, academics and my oldest graduating, it feels like I have a million different ceremonies and programs to attend. On top of meetings for the upcoming seasons next school year. I’m just trying to get through it.

    pffft... call in sick.

I plan to focus on me for the month by saying no more often. Im a people pleaser, this is going to be difficult, but I need that time for me.

Ive also joined a 28 day challenge at my trainers gym, the goal is to lose 5kgs in 28 days :)

I gained weight over winter (on porpoise  ) and now cutting a few pounds slowly. I started a powerlifting program 6 weeks ago and going to see how many cycles I want to keep doing if I continue to like the program. I also am rammping up my running after the long winter where my running fitness suffered. Glad to be back out on pavement running again. I have a 8K charity run I do each year coming up in 3 weeks would like to beat my time last year, I medaled in my age group so that would be nice. I do several other fun runs in the summer as well.

My goals are not spectacular in nature, I turn 50 in a few months so I am trying my best to look forward to that. :grimace:
