Rapid weight lost

Hello, I started a 1500 calorie diet watching my nutrient intake and going on 20-min walks almost everyday. I have lost 6 pounds in a week. Was most of that weight water?

    Yep. Unless you have a LOT to lose, it will likely slow down in a week or so.

    yup...water and less inherent waste in your system. It'll even out.

    Yes, that exactly what happened to me. Lost 6 lbs the first week, abut 3 the second then it slowed to my intended 1.5 on average for the next 3 months or so.

    Sounds like you're right on track and doing great.

    After 2 kids I jumped from 130lb to 176lb over the past 5 years.....long road ahead.
