Thor ragnorok, guardians 1, avengers 1, doctor strange, civil war, the rest might make you miss 0n some jokes but those are the mains0 -
Like.. this movie is a sequel to those movies0

All Marvel studios movies made from 2008 til now, there are 18 of them I believe.CaptainFantastic01 wrote: »Thor ragnorok, guardians 1, avengers 1, doctor strange, civil war, the rest might make you miss 0n some jokes but those are the mainsDeadliftsAndSprinkles wrote: »Ideally all of them but if you had to you could skip Thor, Captain America: The First Avenger (although if you skip this then you won't get the "ohmygosh" factor of Red Skull, and you could probably skip the second and third Iron Man movies.
I think. I don't think anything was referenced...?
Thank you so very much. Gathered there was more to it than just "not enjoying" the film as it was presented. Felt bombarded with characters. I will make a list, watch all that I have not seen, before viewing Infinity Wars again.1 -

Yeah it rewards viewers who have been watching by doing very little exposition about what has already happenned1 -
Assuming the super heroes who'd vanished or turned to dust aren't dead, only dust vapored into an alternate space created by Thanos ... Were their disappearances expected or random?1

Like did the audience expect it or were they selected specifically.
They might be housed in the soul stone, the scene with young gamora in the orange space makes me thing she is being housed in the soul stone but it looks like they all just died0 -

Hmmm ... Hope not. That sounds logical.
I for one am glad we didn't take my God son. Both his favourite characters died then ... Hulk & Spider boy. Thor has one eye. Iron Man almost died if not for Dr Strange. Captain America is wearing mostly black.
Super heroes dying, yet the "humans" like General Okoye plus surviving Wakandans live? I get that their genetics are altered ingesting traces of the vibranium ... They get to live??1 -
Hulk didn't die, and yeah, this isn't one for kids0

Good when he went down he didn't die? Good
Cannot get over Captain America moving about like he is part of ISIS.1 -

Its Nomad Cap, look it up. Cool story arc for the character.
I can see what their vision was, thank you CatsIvuE, however, for me personally, I felt that his costume from his first scene DID NOT encapsulate, "the spirit" of his character. Had that been the case, I should have known he was Steve Rogers aka Capt. America. It shouldn't have taken "the fight scene" to recognise him.1 -

Hulk says no twice
Also no. All the no. Steve Rodgers is a war criminal but he is still helping people. Comparing him to ISIS is like comparing apples to poop3 -

"The spirit" of Captain America is standing up for what's right against all odds which is what he did the second he had his entrance in Infinity War and he continued to do it throughout the movie. It has nothing to do with his outfit.
Also he looked sexy so you get out of here with that nonsense lol
Have I told you lately that i love you?1 -

You're allowed your opinion, I am permitted mine.
From a costume design perspective, I believe certain scenes were design failures@dark colour saturation. My opinion.1 -
Chris Evans beard inspired me to grow mine back out.
He doesn’t have the red, white and blue because he is a fugitive.
Ahhh that makes sense. It worked then@fugituve. I will never profess to be a Marvel fanatic to read into the characters, as well as know back stories of characters. Appreciate the clarification ... No wonder, I'd likened his costuming to ISIS. That did come through, albeit one who'd still maintained his convictions - the hero.1 -

I've watched it three times now. The screen busy with characters was distracting. Just a lot to see .... Suppose, it's different for those of you who are familiar with ALL characters. I only watch some Marvel films, not ALL.1 -

Also he must be in ISIS because dark clothes and beard. I’m gong to frisk my uncle for a bomb cause you know beard and dark clothes
I’m sorry this was a jerk thing of me to say.
Not at all@beard. My focus was primarily on his costuming.
**I am an aunt who buys these costumes for nephews. I am one who believes that superheroes are positive for children. The "dark" costuming threw me.
Appreciate the banter everyone!!

Because he is undercover and on the run. He IS nomad in every way but name. The main villain is purple are you really hung up on this? Putting 'America's greatest super power' who was doing good and fighting crime in the same spot as ISIS, A REAL LIFE terrorist group?1 -

Because he wears dark colors? Black widow is in dark colors the whole time she is on screen in most any movie. I am significantly bothered by your summations of these characters based on the viewing of a movie you know incredibly little about1 -
Please don't say bad things about steve he is strong but also he is fragile and has been through a lot1
