    When I was 8, we had this huge ditch behind our street. Turtles would come to this part that looked like a deep swimming hole. One day I saw this huge Alligator Snapper, and thought it was the coolest thing. So, I caught it.

    My mom freaked out when I walked up into the yard, I just dumped it right in grass at our feet, without a care in the world. Later the neighbor came by and was laughing with my mom. I heard her say that it was the darndest thing seeing this tiny little girl carrying this huge net on her shoulder with a big *kitten* turtle hanging from the back.

    My dad and my brothers put it back where it belonged, but i remember really wanting to keep it in the pool in the backyard.

    Kids do crazy things.

    Haha sorry. This was a school trip to the zoo and well...yeah no turtle.
