We are headed into JUNE 2018. Hope all our regular peoples join me here and perhaps some new faces who wish too work on new bodies! EXERCISE is good for your health and gives us longer life according too studies...

At this moment my pain is fairly under control. I did have too go too the weekend walk in clinic. What I have is not just a back injury. Once a rash showed up around my waist line my husband (being a Nurse) said I had developed the SHINGLES. we went too the Clinic and that is what I have. They say I've caught it early, gave me medication and hope I don't have too suffer through SIX MONTHS of pain. she said some people do have those pains that long... I just know it's horrible!

@jeanniewes I feel your pain. Had shingles twice! Very painful thing. Thought it was a badly pulled muscle until the rash appeared. Can often mean you are run down, so take it easy.

Thank you Eileen! I do work hard around my home. I had a bad virus for 5 weeks. My husband said my immune system just got compromised. I am going too take the Shingles vaccine once all this is over....They say it is 99% effective...I pray so. This has been rough AND VERY PAINFUL off and on...2

June 4th I had 3 walks first one was a walk with my childhood buddy. We walked 1.6 miles ate salads and done so me shopping at the mall. Second walk was though the farm just a short walk of 1.3 miles. And the last one was around the track while my son was practicing football. I forgot to turn on my Strava when walking but the girl I was walking with started after me said she walked 1.5 miles. so a total for today is 4.2
Total miles as of June 4th 9.6 miles.
I also got bee stung Sunday while going though our honey bees. My leg is swollen up so I went and got a shot for that in between my walks. I also have gained 3 lbs. yesterday, I'm hoping that it's the where my leg is swollen and it will go down in a couple of days. They also give me a steroid pack that I'm starting this morning.1 -

June 6th- I went kayaking with the kids. It was a great day to be on the lake. I didn't put any sun block on so I'm a little red. Walked 2.1 miles when we got back home.

Thank you conaster. Actually this has been my best day yet. I've been able too walk around my yard several times and watered flowers. My husband helped me. It was an off and on day thing but all those slow steps did give me 2 miles. Not like my usual walks but I'll take anything I can get at this point!1

I have been running round getting ready for a cruise and a grandchildren visit. I will catch up on my stats when I am between holiday stages! Having Shingles and my whole world being turned around has done something too my metabolism? I'm losing weight. I've lost a bit over 3 pounds since May 23rd. Of course there are days I could not eat much. My exercise has changed drastically. I have eaten more protein too help heal the body. That must be making a difference? I don't know...!!!!!
