Really need to add net carbs as an option in macro - this is a major omission.

Well, all of us in the UK are already doing net carbs, ‘cos that’s what the nutritional labels give us.7

You can add fibre under the food & diary settings so the column shows, then just deduct it from the carb total.. if you're a premium member. Don't think you can do it using the free version.1

You can definitely add fibre to the columns in the free version...
Or use net carb entries if your entries aren't already net carb - add "net carbs" to your search terms. If you can't find an entry, make one of your own4 -
You can use this script to get net carbs.

This site has an extension you can download to your machine which adjusts the food diary to show your net carbs.0 -
Net carbs are not their own macro, just like saturated and unsaturated fats aren't broken out under the fat macro. They are broken out individually on the Nutrients page. If you are using the app, just click on the nutrients tab and do the math, it isn't terribly hard.6

True, net carbs aren’t a macro, but many of us prefer Net Carbs over Carbs and building out the option for those of us that do would be a value added feature for the app. I’ve often considered looking for this in another app and won’t be renewing my premium membership when it’s up for renewal if the option isn’t available here but is elsewhere.6

The option isn't available on MFP.
Net carbs have been discussed here a time or two in the past. Here's a bit of reading for you, just a few of the threads - with many containing explanations as to why it's impractical and probably won't ever be implemented:

Cronometer.com allows for net carbs as an option (and it's free)0

As a retired school teacher, I am so disappointed over how many people refuse to to simple arithmetic like subtract 24 from 132. That is all anyone needs to do to get net carbs and it is free.5 -

Cronometer is free, it's similar to MFP in that it offers a premium option but net carbs option is part of the free plan. They also have a very detailed breakdown of micros, which is also included in their free plan. For some of us it just makes things a bit easier/saves time to be able to see our net carbs at a glance.1 -

Of course, 5 seconds of brain use is so important in busy lives.6 -
