Okay. Against my better judgement - this is the closest I have to a LBD:
And while trying on dresses, I decided to take the risk and wear my Matric farewell dress (from 20 years ago). All I can say is, stretch velvet is magic!

The choker is actually part of the dress - there are cords woven through each other up the back and braided around the front. I designed the dress myself (it also has separate sleeves that come up to mid-bicep because the dress was worn for my boyfriend at the time's Matric farewell - which was in winter) 1 -

I will have to find a picture from my Matric farewell. It is difficult to arrange the cords by myself and this was just a knotted mess at the back!!0 -
