Ended up eating only around 1000 cals.
This was what I eat and it actually kept me content today..
Breakfast: sachet of porridge w/ banana
Lunch: Bowl of Minestrone soup + a pot of jelly + Apple
Dinner: 2 small jacket potatoes w/ some beans and bit of cheese sprinkled.
This came to around 1000 cals.
Seriously annoying if I'm under eating. I'm over weight with about 6st to shed. I actually have felt comfortable and not starving the last few days with 3 meals a day. But I'm worried I'm under eating? Do I need to eat more even if I'm content? I'm not sure what else to eat lol it sounds so daft. All I want to do is eat healthier and exercise to lose the weight but want to do it right. I have a feeling the one thing I need to is eat a little more? Anyone got any advice?

Before you decide you aren't eating enough, are you sure you're measuring accurately? It looks like you're using some generic/homemade entries that were created by others. 186 calories of potato isn't a lot at all and 25 calories isn't a lot for a cup of tea with full fat milk and 2 sweeteners (depending on how much was used, of course).
If you feel full on that, it's possible you ate a lot more than 1,000 calories.7 -
Agreed^^
I'd start by weighing the dinner, at least. Although bananas can be anywhere from 100-300 calories, depending on size, so I'd weigh that too.

Doesn’t look like you’re having much in the way of protein, which could contribute to a greater amount of muscle loss while you lose weight. You’ll still lose mostly fat, but you’ll lose more muscle than someone who gets enough protein, and that can make it a lot harder to stick with any kind of exercise program, make you feel run down, and could get dangerous when you get closer to goal. Also, not much in the way of veggies outside the soup, which wouldn’t be a ton of calories but would help with micros.3

Part of this is that the entries she's choosing aren't accurate. 186 calories of potato should have about 5 grams of protein, but hers is set to 0. Not that this would totally make up the gap, protein would still be pretty low, but it would help.4 -

^ Jane leading off with spot-on advice like always
Too many questions in threads come down to consistent/accurate logging and this is one of them. It also doesn't look like you've logged recently outside of the past two days. Ensure your calorie number is accurate, be consistent with logging over a few weeks and watch what your weight is doing, react accordingly.5 -
I have only came back to MFP today so I havnt got 2 days before hand filled in. I did eat veggies up on those days except today though. Just trying to have different food so I don't get bored.
I have actually got a food scale I just havnt used it yet. So literally just used what MFP has for now. I will get round to using it definitely ad I have in the past and it was a great help. I'm literally just starting back out again but trying a different method1 -

As long as hunger isn't an issue, I would focus on logging accurately and consistently before deciding you aren't eating enough. I'm thinking you did get more than you thought today. If after a few days of logging accurately you realize you aren't getting enough (or if you start to feel really hungry), there is always time to make adjustments then.0 -
I'm a little useless with MFP. The measurements and stuff with food I'm terrible. I will use the food scale tomorrow now so I can work out exactly what I am having. Will make it so much easier for me0

Ok thank you Jane I will do. The reason I had actually bought the scale was because of people saying who great they were lol and I did managed to lose 2st last year by correctly using it and eating enough0
