I like that you're broken, broken like me. Maybe that makes me a fool.

I like that you're lonely, lonely like me. I could be lonely with you.
Number one, this makes me love both of you more
Number two; I really like this song
Number three; it’s so sad that so many people identify here
Number four. That’s a terrible mindset and dinamic for a relationship

True. But everyone is broken or damaged in some way. You just have to find someone whose pieces fit together with yours.

While everyone IS broken searching for love on the basis that their broken has to fit with your broken is a good way to let yourself down. I know how much you love How I Met Your Mother but I shall reference it here. In the middle of the 8th season robin and Barney are cheating on their seemingly perfect boyfriend and girlfriend with each other. The time comes to choose and robin asks Barney “why do you want to be with me?” He says “because you’re just as messed up as me” and then she asked Harold or kumar, her ex therapist/current boyfriend(after trying to confess she’d cheated with Barney but he told her it didn’t matter because he loved her and that was what was important) why he wanted to be with her and he was so sweet.

When my figure significant other asks me why I want to be with them I want to tell them the reasons and not “our broken pieces fit” and if you seek out love with that mindset that’ll be all you have. Trust me I’ve been there. It’s not fun.

    First, that show is stupid.

Second, I never said that had to be the reason for loving them. Try finding someone who's perfect and see how let down you are.

    Third, don't lecture me.

    All these are valid points,

I apologize that did get rather lectury

Yeah, nevah with that show. Nevah. I love you both. I want to eat both your *kitten*. I side with JRTI on the second point. As far as the third, I do not have enough creamed corn for this wrasslin' match.

I really like the Eastern tradition of bowing rather than making physical contact with strangers. Or just a simple hello with a fake smile. Really that would suffice.

I'm out coz I don't fake my smiles

I’ll do it. I’m an American woman, trained to fake a smile at the slightest breeze.

Just to reiterate, we KNOW when you are faking, ok? We always know.

    This is LIES!

    Is NOT.

Why you calling HIMYM stupid?? I loved it when it was on, thought it was funny! Its stupid if people base their "love life" on it. I'll agree with that!

On the surface it's actually pretty funny and enjoyable. I think just about every relationship on there is dumb. But mostly, the last season made me so mad and I hold a wicked grudge.

I totally agree and yes I think everyone hated the last season!

We hate what we know rings truth within ourselves that we observe in others.

We expect of others everything we ourselves can't live up to.
