Cardio is all well but for nearly a year have had awful brain fog bottomless pit days that suck more then cancer
OP, I'm quoting this because you mention cancer. Have you had cancer that was treated with chemo? Brain fog following treatment can happen to some people. My husband went through it shortly after treatment many years ago.2 -

You also may want to set your carbs a little bit lower, and raise your protein. If your body does not respond well to carbs, that could cause tiredness and brain fog.0

Concentration shot
Energy poor
Memory terrible cohesion gone
Mood appalling
So elimated milk yogurt dairy sugars salt in safe zones
Drink enough water and take hydration pills
It’s not adrenal fatigue as it goes next day these symptoms
So many things tried to cure it can’t take caffeinated *kitten* as to sensitive so energy drinks out
It’s so hard ploughing through its always like this can’t have the good endorphins without the crash next day
Oddly enough, cancer can cause brain fog - it doesn't even have to be brain cancer.
Furthermore, cancer treatment can also cause brain fog, during treatment at a severe level, but potentially permanently . . . there's even a name for it, "chemo brain". (I have it, even 17 years post-treatment.)
If you've had cancer, you're entitled to say the bolded. If you haven't, it's completely obnoxious and offensive.
Advice: See your doctor. Based on what you say, it sounds like your exercise and eating are reasonable (unless you have a too-aggressive weight loss target rate; eating too little will cause brain fog and fatigue - don't try to lose more than 1% of your body weight per week, and less is fine).
There are any number of medical conditions that can cause the symptoms you report. Most of those medical condtions are easily remedied, but some of those conditions are serious and not something to joke about. Like cancer.
I hope you find a way to feel better. For help, see your doctor.5 -
Sinnce this has been ongoing for so long I'd go to your doctor and tell them your symptoms. There are a number of medical conditions that could cause your symptoms. You might need some tests run to find out.
Have you been losing weight, maintaining or gaining during this time period?

Meds are propanol 30mg daily
Exeffor 150mg daily
Trostan 30 mg daily hormone replacement
Pretty sure Exeffor can cause some brain fog as a side effect and the other two could possibly contribute also. Like others have said, see your doctor because that is the only way of being able to determine a cause.0 -

Propanol is a beta blocker used to treat high BP and sometimes hear arrhythmias. One of the side effects is the slow down of the HR and that can lead to lack of energy and probably brain fog. You are also taking an antidepressant (Exeffor), so you do need to talk to your doctor and find out if you need a dose reduction of either or both meds, or a change of meds. And to evaluate any additional medical condition.
People in this forum can't and shouldn't, be giving you additional medical information. But not treating your brain fog could put you at risk of unintentional accidents. Please do go to see a doctor ASAP2
