First day of radiation treatment, finished Aug. 8, 29 more treatments. Exercising really helps to minimize the symptoms. Managed to get 11,100 steps I must have had 20 glasses of water. I feel strong going to beat this.18

I finished last round up a pound from my challenge start weight:(. Not a good thing but it’s all on me. I have to step back and regroup. I’m in for this round but did not weigh today. I’ll weigh in the morning.

6/19- 180.2. May have not been the best weigh in this morning but it’s going to be a good day, I can feel it. Just got in from the gym, lifting and a short run. Gotta eat right and push the water!

6/21 - 178.4 - I’m happy with this. We will see how the day goes. Its our 21st anniversary today and I believe we will go out for a late lunch or dinner today. Have to try and keep it under control.
6/22 - 178.8 - I am pleased with this number. No workout yesterday and went out for our anniversary and had a few drinks with good food! Just got back from the gym and off to work in a few.
6/23 - 177.2 - good stuff! I weighed first thing this morning but then got busy and forgot to post. Ran 3.1 miles this morning, lifted and then all kinds of chores. Good day and hope it reflects in the morning.
6/24 - 176.4 - WooHoo, two days to go and I’ve met my goal. I wanted to hit 176.anything! Just have to stay focused and keep working the plan!

6/17 91.1kg (-0.7kg) Ate a bit under my kcal goal and went to a welnesscentre. So lots of fluid loss. But still happy wth the numbers......
6/18 90.8kg (-0.3kg) Had an emotional day, not very hungry (but ate a whole bucket of Breyers icecream) and stayed whitin my kcal goal.

6/25 90.9kg (+0.2kg) Started excersising . Will do kettlebellswing 3x a week and in between try to walk as much as I can. The family dog stays at my place for 5 weeks in a row...... That helps. Lets hope at the end of the 5 weeks I'll start liking excersising and my body is a bit better formed! So Yesterday was workout 1 with Tracy Reifkind with 200 swings in 20 minutes.
6/26 90.8kg (-0.1kg) Goal met!! Walked 20.000 steps (a bit overdone...) So so so happy with this challange. It helps me tremendously.

6/17 181.6: Right direction, finally. Walked even though my knee is hurting. Probably not a good thing, but I have a hard time deciding whether I’m really in danger of permanent injury or whether I’m just being a wuss. Aching knee made it hard to sleep. I’m icing, massaging, using Voltaren and Tylenol. I really don’t want to quit walking now. Perhaps I’ll try wrapping it before I walk today. Made a gorgeous Father’s Day breakfast for hubby and boys and ate a whopping 522 calories of berry pancakes with maple syrup and bacon. Will behave for the remainder of the day.
6/18 – 182.2 Even typing those numbers is hard. My scale heard every expletive known to man this morning!! Oh well … onward. PERSISTENCE!!!
6/19 -- – 180.8 And THAT’S the weirdness of the body and the weight loss process!! Yesterday, I had a horrendous eating day. Within calories, but every manner of junk, both sweet and salty, that you can imagine. I was emotional, sad, depressed and not having any of the healthy lifestyle. At the end of the day, I decided that I would press the reset button for today. And I have. As odd as it is, I will take this drop with both hands and deep gratitude even though it’s probably a false positive.
6/20 -- 181.0 Uptick to reflect nasty eating two nights ago. Walked for an hour. Knee bothered me the whole way. I must make an appointment to have it checked out. Today my niece arrives from overseas for a 20 day stay. The next three weeks are going to be an eating challenge with baseball games, festivals, fairs and other tourist-type activities. Must keep my head in the game.
6/21 – 180.6 Yay!!!! Very busy yesterday giving my house a much needed clean. Racked up 14000 steps just cleaning. Over on sugar and carbs which is a pattern for me. Off to my sister’s today for two days to spent time with the overseas visitor.

6/24 – 182: And that’s what you get when you lose control dining out with overseas visitors and every dessert is free game. Cheesecake and apple crumble factored into this. Unfortunately don’t think I’ll make goal again this round!!!
6/25 – 181.6: Spent almost six hours yesterday steam cleaning furniture and rugs. I have hardwood but rugs on all levels and WHEW… what a job!!!! I’m a bit frustrated because I really want to get back to exercising but my knee is still bothering me. Going to have to focus on daily knee strengthening and if that doesn’t work then I’ll head to the doctor. My eating is still rough too. I’m looking forward to next round to see some downward movement on the scale.

Didn't weigh over the weekend - routine up the wall as had my teenage daughters sleepover party, hubby been away although home now and Fathers Day - not a normal weekend at all! Meal out with daughter, sleepover party food was involved including birthday cake, full on cooked breakfast yesterday for Fathers Day, Sunday roast yesterday for fathers day with alcohol and desserts - aarrgghh! Did I go mad - not really but the excess carbs bloated feeling back again today which I do not like! Back on plan today, short 12 mile cycle tonight planned and weigh ins from tomorrow..... Wedding on Friday and cheerleading weekend away (2 nights hotel living and a 5 hour drive each way) so going to be hard to stay on track but not being on here definitely wont help
Round 44 aim - stay on track as far as possible, plenty of water, try to choose healthiest options possible when eating out Aim not to gain any weight - I would see maintenance as a success this round
19/06 142.60lb - same as this time last week despite my weekend indulgences - so guess that means at least when there are no events in my way I must be eating and exercising ok! Good food day yesterday and a 12 mile cycle so feel better today. Todays food all planned and should be good with an hours PT at the gym tonight
Just over 4 weeks till our sons wedding and 6 weeks till our holiday - so time to re-focus!
20/06 - 141.4lb - 1.20lb off - exactly the same weight as this time last week for the second day on the trot! just proves in my head the effect a weekend of non-tracking / eating anything does to my weight - as if I needed proof! Will tomorrows weigh in be a surprise or not?
21/06 - 140.1lb - 1.3lb down surprise surprise - same as last Thursday! Gym tonight, planed food (including hubbys home made - all within calories and macros - burgers) so hoping tomorrows weigh in is a good one to set me up for our manic weekend Round all good so far.....
22/06 - Friends wedding - then heading straight from there at 10pm on a 5 hour drive away for the weekend....

25/06 - Back home but not weighed. A great weekend, full of lovely food and drink but inevitably ended up with some less than great food given the cheerleading comp, too many convenience carbs and far too many car hours topped off with not enough water. However all back to normal today... good food, trying to drink plenty as warmer too. This round ends tomorrow (hopefully not on too much of a high!) but then I have a clear run at round 45 - the next 10 days I can be in control of what I'll be eating and when - hurray!!!

6/17- 237.2 Only .2lbs off my weekly loss goal. Also down .4lbs from yesterday’s R43 EW. Went to BFF’s birthday party with Asian food and skipped all the noodles and carbs. Didn’t have cake. Didn’t miss it. Woohoo!
6/18- 236.8 Readjusted my goals and calories budget decreased by 200 calories. Not worried about it though since I’ve been consistently logging below budget. I have a nagging worry in the back of my mind that this big weight loss at the beginning of my journey won’t stick. I’m at about 13lbs in 3 weeks with just sticking to 1500 calories. No exercise yet because I’m waiting for clearance. I feel like I’m cheating somehow.
6/19- 237.2 Didn’t have to get on the scale to know there would be a gain today. Too much sodium, not enough water. Bloated and crampy today. AF still a no-show. Meh.
6/20- 236.2 Not sure what to think. AF finally decided to visit. I forgot how painful and uncomfortable it is. At least it confirms my suspicion for the gain yesterday. Don’t know how this round will play out. I’ve never tracked my weight during before. Ate at a deficit and was vigilante about drinking water. Bridal shower luncheon for a good friend/coworker today. I’m budgeting my calories for the chocolate cake.
6/21- 236.6 AF is not a pleasant visitor. Cramping and cravings. Note to self: STAY THE COURSE. Your body will catch up eventually. 3-4 more pounds and I’ll have lost the equivalent of my 5 month old.
6/22- 236.2 4Cs= cramps, cravings, chocolate, and chips. Positive note: still down 1 lb since start of round.
6/23- 237.0 Had a mental health day yesterday. Shopping, hair cut, lunch out with friends, and mani/pedi with complimentary mimosa. Not a great food choice day but just what I needed to recharge. No Regerts.
6/24- 236.2 Third time logging this weight during this round. Hopefully it’s the charm and it’ll stay. Rough night with the kids and late weigh in this morning. Good food choices yesterday and did some cleaning/moving furniture. Researched TDEE and macros. Adjusted on MFP and hope I did it correctly.
6/25- 237.4 May be paying the price for my mental health day. Just. Keep. Swimming.
6/26- 236.5 I’m a bit disappointed in myself given this is the least I’ve lost in a week (and in 10 days) since I started on Memorial Day. I know AF threw me off some but in general I felt I made good food choices. I could also attribute it to logging error because I ate out a couple times and the cake calories were a guesstimate. Trying not to let it get to my head. Bought a measuring tape and will start to keep track of inches.

6/17 - 166 - Considering my giant drop to end the round yesterday, I'm very happy with this weight.
6/18 - 166 - I hopped on the scale several times this morning. It bounced up to 167 once, but since it showed 166 3 times, that is what I'm going with. I had a lot of sodium this weekend so I'll be drinking my water today.
6/19 - 165 - Yay, nice to see this number again. I'll see how long it lasts, but at least it's a downward trend.
6/20 - 165 - I'm really happy that yesterday was not a fluke. It's been 11 years since I've been at this weight. I told my husband this morning that I'm only 10 pounds from our wedding weight. I cautioned him though, that there's going to be a difference between a 37 year old and a 54 year old at the same weight, so don't get too excited!
6/21 - 165 - I don't think I've held a weight for 3 days before. I'm usually bouncing up and down. I'll take it and am starting to hope that I'll see a 164 in the near future.
6/22 - 164.5 - I'm happy! Now I have lunch with a client today at a new Italian restaurant. I'm not going to stress over the likely bump tomorrow because I have to try the chicken parmesan everyone raves about. This past month and a half of challenges and daily weigh ins have given me a lot of insight into how I lose weight and how to be accountable when I inevitably, occasionally, overeat.
6/23 - 165 - Here's the bump, but that half a sandwich was fantastic! In the meantime, I re-saved my settings in MFP and due to my weight loss, it seems I now have 130 calories less to eat a day to maintain a 1 pound a week weight loss. Yikes!
6/24 - 165 - I'm just riding this out. I hope to see 164.5 again for Tuesday.
6/25 - 164 - I hope this sticks, I hope this sticks, I hope this sticks!!!

6/17 – 133.4. Going to head out for a bike ride in a bit…then get organized for the next week/ 10 days. Grocery shopping, meal prep and setting up a productive week…with sleep, workouts and no more than 40 hours of work.
6/18 -133 intermittent fast. I went to the gym with the trainer and did a 40 min run on hills. Drank 56 oz of water..came home and stepped on the scale for grins and it was 131.4..I know that is water fluctuation but I am happy to see that number…Made a big pot of Minestrone last night- used water and not broth to cut down on the Sodium. I am going on vaca on 6/28 and want to be under 130 by then. It will be a very active vacation.
6/19 – 132.4. Yay. Motivated. Have good foods prepped and exercise on the agenda. Getting a bit more sleep. Must keep it going!
6/20-133…under calories but…a little salty snack of pretzels before bed. I was craving salt and had a good swim during the day and went climbing at night so prob dehydrated, even with the water I did drink. I have never weighed in daily and it is rather fascinating to see! Got 8 hours of sleep last night and I feel gooood today!
6/21 – 132.2. Yay…bike ride last night. I had two beers with dinner after but was under my calories as I ate great all day AND for dinner. Planning to get in a run this am and some climbing tonight. I am feeling good. Sleep is helping. 8 hours last night again.
6/22-132.4 intermittent fast
6/23 – 131.8
6/24- 130.8
6/25-133 intermittent fast. Super busy weekend. Lots of activity and was under calories but I did eat out Sat. (had a margarita and chips salsa then homemade veg pizza) and last night went for a vegan burger and fries which just spikes the scale!! I thought weighing in daily would be a real negative but it actually helps me see how the choices I make affect my weight- be it water or not…I leave for vaca for 10 days on Thursday so the next 3 days are laser focus on getting that number down again…no eating out..lots of water and homemade foods. Wooo. I can do this!!
6/26 -131.2. Last day of the 10 days. Did not get to my goal but feel pretty happy with the movement downward. I am not going to do the next round as I will be on vaca. I will be super active on vacation and tend to eat healthy so I am hoping it’s a positive for my downward trend. Planning to come back for round 47

6/17 190 Read advice on here to reset my profile every 10 lbs, so I did and have 60 fewer calories per day. Makes sense but also makes me nervous - have to focus and plan a little more carefully
6/18 190.6 Gonna blame that on the steak and potato dinner

6/20 189.2 phew, that feels better! Have a retirement party to attend today - Usually I eat a lot at these events because I am shy. Today I need to be bold and make small talk with people I don't know so that I don't stuff myself.

6/22 189.8 emotional eating - damage control needed today
6/23 189.8 ETA Started down the emotional eating slide again yesterday, but proud that I was able to shut it down and compensate by changing up my supper - ended up just 6 cals over.
6/24 DNW woke up late - really hoping the rain will stop so I can walk outside - rather than on the treadmill.

Round 44– stay in the upper 180’s and loose the planned gain from Father’s Day feast.
6/17 - 189lbs – happy Father’s Day to all.
6/18 – 191lbs – what a Father’s Day, food, cocktails, and live music, what a lazy day.
6/19 – 193lbs - very stressful day and didn’t get to eat till after 9pm. Also eat horrible. Could be a bad week!!
6/20 – 190lbs – ate unhealthy crap all day. 1000 calories over maintenance. worked and fished hard yesterday. 5 hours sleep. 6/19 weight gain was probably the 2 jars of pickles I eat on Monday.
6/21 - 193lbs – lunches have been way to unhealthy the last 2.3 days. Still I knew this was going to be a crazy week.
6/22 - ??? to much work to do this week. Not dieting or stepping on the scale today
6/23 – drank away the stressful week of work. On my way into work again on a Saturday, I do like the building empty. Think I will work Sunday also. I really need to get caught up. I did get on the scale late this morning and it was not pretty. Entertaining sub-contractors most of the week is not good for my diet.
6/24 – 194lbs – should have gone to work today but got lazy.
6/25 – 194 – ate okay yesterday but didn’t do much of anything.
6/26 – 193lbs – nice 4-pound gain over the last 10 days. I would have thought stress and to much work would have accounted for a loss. Oh well stayed under my goal weight of never seeing 200 again.

My ultimate goal is 175lbs, so any loss is a good loss.
