Success/struggles of the week: I refuse to raise my maintenance weight range -- even though I seem to be maintaining at the 130 instead of the 120. So, I continue logging my food and exercise -- it really is habit now anyway. Summer is just hard -- routine is gone (I teach at a college and am off in the summer) and there's so much good stuff that usually involves food. And, @Rachelmilloy -- this one is for you! Thanks for the shout out about the pup -- we've named her Molly (Ob La Di Ob La Da Life Goes On) and my husband calls her Miss Jones. Love that --- LOL! She may have some Beauceron in her according to the vet (that's a new breed for me, but when we checked, it sounds just like her) along with the black lab. She is settling in and I can't imagine not having her now -- we play ball all morning and nap all afternoon. Isn't that what we all should do if we could?8 -

Success/ struggles of the week/ month (since I'm not posting weekly): June was a bit difficult, couldn't get the weight to go down after kids left from the break. I think it's because i didn't want to give up any extra snacks and kept on indulging. I got used to the eating certain way and it works for me, but with a few extra pounds gained during the time kids were home, i needed to cut back a bit, and i just couldn't do it, couldn't commit to a cut. I think I'm out of that slump for now, just in time to go visit with them and the cycle starts again...i hope not, gotta be strong! So posting early as i leave tomorrow to see my youngest. It's going to be busy and wonderful, we always have so much fun, I'm so excited! Have a great weekend, everyone!8 -

The MFP Challenge Lose 52 Pounds In 52 Weeks helped me Lose 37/43 in two years (2016-2017) and got me to Maintenance!

Successes of the week: Was a good DIL and kept house for FIL on Wed. He gave me some frozen meat, which will go a long way to stretching the groceries this week. Starting to trim down the exercises. Now that I know my arms and abs workout are what broke my pelvic floor, doing my best to revamp appropriately.
Challenges of the week: Food scale died this week, so am flying blind as it were. Bingeing, over-exercising, under-sleeping all still happening. Made a stand-alone post about it in this forum. I have been fighting intuitive eating for a long time, mostly out of fear and lack of self-trust. I think it may be time to revisit that.

Successes/struggles of the week: First and foremost - so many strong and capable people in this monthly check-in group. The solidarity here in the struggles are nothing short of inspirational as you all continue to lift one another up in the face of your own adversities and issues. What an amazing team of people you all are. I am proud to be a part of this group!
With that said, I had a fantastic week.
Quick wins:
- Completed a 5k Rugged Maniac (loved it!)
- Signed my husband and me up for a 5k obstacle course race on August 4th (his first one)
- I officially start school again in September!
- Really getting into a solid groove with mindful eating. Week 3 of no FitBit and no calorie counting and I’m staying the course!

Success/struggles of the week: Not to sure if my loss/gain this week is right. Was in the hospital with a family medical drama all night came home slept for maybe a hour and a half got the call to get back to to hospital right away. I weight myself before we left and it was 128.6. Came home 3 hours later did not drink or have any food during that time and I weight 127.6. Please keep me in your thoughts as we have a funeral to plan and it's going to be a tough week all around.13 -

Struggles: Not happy about weight being up but can’t do much of my regular cardio with broken toe. Might have to schedule 3 fast days a week because regularly lowering calories to compensate for lost cardio would bring me below 1200 and that is just nuts and hangry making for ‘maintenance’. Generally feeling put out.5 -

Success: Did my 2 routine resistance training sessions, plus a mini boot-camp. I'm feeling my energy is slowly coming back after end-of-vacation blues
Struggles: I am like a bottomless pit, wanting to eat everything all the time, even though I'm not particularly hungry! I did fine until Friday night dinner out, then I ate way too much plus dessert, and had a small pity party Saturday morning. A short run that afternoon, and a short bike ride today are helping me feel more in control. I'm planning on staying busy next week until I get a handle on this.

Success/struggles of the week: Me not eating sugar, well that was hopeless! I definitely pared down the intake some, but have really stopped worrying about it. If there is a sugar -> mood connection for me it's one that's either subtle enough that I can't directly see it, or else I won't admit it more likely!!
On the upside, exercise was back up this week in spite of the hot weather, I got over 10 miles in with three runs and did a day on the elliptical too.7 -

Success/struggles of the week: I will not give up! I am within five pounds (ok, six?) of my maintenance weight. BTW -- went back to the "Eat to Live" website -- love that book and love that program -- and found the Nutritarian Pyramid -- love it too! Here's the link if anyone is interested. My husband and I really do eat like this -- we center our meals around salad whenever we can. I find rereading about the health benefits of this diet is always motivating. Have good weeks everyone!

@Jimb376mfp I hear you on the meal prep! It's so much easier to stay within calories (and eat healthy meals) when I plan ahead, rather than grabbing random amounts of whatever's in the fridge, or getting take-out because nothing appeals.2

Got my crew pursuing their own fitness goals and keeping me motivated:
- Best friend doing a 45 mile cycle for charity event with me next week
- Husband doing a 5k OCR with me August 4th
- Neighbor doing a 10 mile Tough Mudder with me in October
- Other bestie doing a 5k virtual race with me in November
I feel so truly inspired by these people. They each have their own journey to travel; I am excited to share in their joy at key milestones and blessed that they asked me along for the adventure.5 -

Without all the weekly stuff, I am at 118# now and have been for a couple of months. I still do not log, unless I eat a bunch of stuff I'm not sure of calorie-wise. I exercise a lot.
Most importantly, I have become comfortable in my skin. My clothes fit, I can pretty much eat what I want, and I feel great!
It took me quite a while to stop losing and get comfortable with maintaning and even gaining a couple of pounds. I see some here are struggling with that. Don't worry, you will find your balance.10 -

Success/struggles of the week: The last two days have been very emotional with burying my MIL and going though her home with many memories. My weight is up although I am shocked by how much due to not making good food choices the last two days although I did resist the donuts. I know it is mostly sodium. I will be drinking tons of water to flush my system. I'm giving myself 2 weeks to get back to normal just in time for my sons wedding.8 -
