I was trying making a meal but it a little difficulty how many calories would you average it to be. Frying it in a little canola oil.

weigh the catfish and log it. weigh anything you add to the catfish, including oil, and log it.2

It's a game changer, for sure. Also saves on dishes since you don't have to use cups and spoons nearly as much (I just use liquid measuring cups now).0 -
Cooked catfish is about 40-50 calories per ounce before considering the breading or frying oil. I'd call a 6 ounce portion about 450-500 calories. 250-300 for the protein and another 150-200 for the breading and oil absorbed from frying.0
