When working out, do you prefer music or podcasts, or nothing at all?

    I have audible, but I also use hoopla (based of your local library membership) and there are a few apps with free books, just not the extensive collection paid ones have

    For me, it's a mix of music or nothing.

    Strength training, treadmill or indoor cardio work: Music. I have bluetooth Jabra Elite Sport in ear headphones so they don't interfere with anything.

    Outdoor running, bicycling, etc. I prefer nothing. I want to hear if something is coming up behind me such as a car, person, or dog. I try to be very aware of surroundings. Also, I find that if I run with headphones on, I can't hear my footsteps and I tend to land very heavy.

    But sometimes I just put my earbuds in so people won't talk to me.
