Hello! I always struggle with the breakfast portion of my calorie intake a day because I either eat too much or too little and my day gets all messed up. What do you guys eat for breakfast?

I usually have oatmeal with milk & protein powder (Steel cut Irish Oatmeal) or something with eggs, maybe eggs & greens, bacon & eggs, sometimes with rice or bread. You want a good dose of protein at breakfast1

Typically it's a boring banana and some oatmeal. It fills me up and leaves lots of calories for later.
What is your definition of healthy?1 -

I'm assuming healthy wouldn't include Krispy Kreme Donuts2 -
Breakfast is usually my smallest meal of the day. Usually some oats and a V8 or scrambled or boiled eggs.3

You just inspired me to eat egg in the nest! I prefer salty foods more than sweets and a good combination of egg and toast always fills me up.0 -
I usually eat 3 eggs, 4 pieces of bacon, toast with avocado, chocolate, and a pot of coffee.
If I'm less hungry (which is not often), I have some precooked chicken sausages that just need to be heated...almonds and a pot of coffee.2 -
Usually just eggs, sometimes some sausage..0

I have toast with peanut butter and jam with coffee. Almost every morning. If I don't have it I feel like it throws off my day.4

To your other questions - What do you guys eat for breakfast? and What are healthy breakfasts that are easy to make? - breakfast meals are breakfast meals because of tradition, not because they are important to eat at a certain time; a healthy diet is balanced and varied, and you can eat whatever you want for each meal. What you think is easy and tasty, can be vastly different from what I think is easy and tasty, so it's better that you just choose what you like to eat and to make.3 -
Eggs, or egg whites, ham/turkey sausage or veggie sausage.
OR Grits and fruit
OR Yogurt and protein powder with fruit.0 -
I make hashes that last a few days. Ground meat, roasted starch like squash or sweet potato, and whatever vegetables I have on hand. I eat it with eggs and a cup of tea.2

Mashed avocado on toast
Blueberry pancakes (I eat mine with Greek yogurt instead of syrup)

Leftovers from yesterday

Eggs cooked into a hole in a piece of bread. Very yummy.2 -
Oh OK - Mom used to make those -I forget what we called them0

You cut a circle from a piece of bread, put it on a pan and in the hole you add an egg and let it cook. If you look up "egg in a nest breakfast" that is what i mean. I sometimes add avocado or ham and it taste really good.0 -
50gm of frozen berries, 225gm Greek yogurt, 25gm chocolate protein powder. I’ll make 6 at a time (size of the yogurts at Costco) and store in mason jars in the fridge for grab-and-go breakfasts or snacks.
I make huge batches of soup in my instant pot, and portion them out for a quick heat-and-eat meal, or to freeze for future quick meals. They often make a good and easy breakfast too.0 -

I will absolutely use your go to breakfasts considering they sound amazing. Thank you!2 -
I have to eat while packing lunches and making sure the kid gets ready for school. So turkey sausage links, half a grapefruit, and usually some bar (Fiber One, Belvita) I can have in the car.0
-
Most of the time: Oatmeal with chopped raisins, chopped dried cranberries, chopped walnuts, cinnamon, and a small amount of sweetner (honey, or marmalade) with coffee
Occasionally scrambled eggs
Occasionally cereal with milk
Eating oatmeal keeps me fuller longer and I have great blood pressure and low cholesterol.1 -

Oats with coconut oil & protein powder, I then pour some coconut greek yogurt 75g container on top of it and sprinkle with unsweetened shredded coconut. Yummy.
Milk w/protein powder & 1 serving of cinnamon toast crunch & 1 serving of Reese's Puffs cereal.2 -
I liked overnight oats a lot when I was working 3 jobs. They saved me a ton of time in the morning.1

Coffee is the healthiest breakfast I could come up with. I love breakfast foods but not breakfast time lol1
-
Usually 2 eggs and a latte0

Same here on breakfast foods but not breakfast time. PB on toast makes an appearance often. Usually it's a container of Greek yogurt, or maybe nothing.
Today I had an ice cream bar because it sounded good and I can fit it into my day, but I'm guessing that's not the kind of advice the OP is looking for0 -
I'm assuming healthy wouldn't include Krispy Kreme Donuts
If it fit calories, nothing wrong with a Krispy Kreme donut for breakfast.2 -
I always have protein with my breakfast as it fills me up for the morning. Apart from the mandatory coffee, my usual is a breakfast sandwich with ham, cheese and egg.0

I tend not to be too hungry in the mornings so I usually go with some kind of breakfast smoothie. It typically looks like this:
- fruits of choice
- Vanilla Greek yogurt - 1/2 - 1 serving
- Liquid egg whites - 1-3 servings
- Ice cubes
Sometimes I’ll add milk, juice, coconut milk or honey if I want something a little higher in calories. They’re very versatile in calories. Mine range from around 250-500 cals and have a good amount of protein in them (around 25g)0 -
I eat breakfast like a hobbit! I eat breakfast, second breakfast and then usually elevensies
It's my hungriest time of day and it's not at all unusual for me to have 800 - 1000 calories before noon. Rarely is it traditional breakfast food though.
I have a smoothie with fruit, yogurt, protein powder and supplements at 4:30 before the gym. When I get to the office, I have second breakfast around 7:30. Today that was Greek salad with shrimp. Last week it was a sausage, egg and biscuit casserole. Then sometime between 10 and 11, I eat again. Today it was rice, baked chicken and veggie mix.
I prep all of the meals on Sundays, so whatever I'm having, it's packed up and ready to grab and go.3
