I'm definitely in! This will be my 7th round Expecting a small bump up in weight this round or that it will move slowly, since I lost so much last round.USW 6th of May: 210 lbs

8/26 – 175.3 lbs Today I am wearing a tank top in my own house for the first time in many years. I wasn’t even comfortable with wearing a tank top when I was home alone! I’m so motivated again after the huge loss last round.
8/27 - 174.8 (-0.5) I am just feeling so motivated right now. Went out and bought new a new exercise outfit today (as my old ones were sizes XL-XXL and now I’m a M-L). Was so happy trying on clothes, that I could have bought everything they had if my economy wasn’t crying for help hahah. It’s an indescribable feeling to actually feel good when trying on clothes. Finally starting physical therapy tomorrow and I’m so excited I’m not sure I’ll be able to sleep tonight. Really hope it can help with my super low blood pressure and my fainting. (I have Addison’s disease! )
8/28 - 173.9 (-0.9) I have no idea what’s going on here, but I’ll take it! I was stuck on 180+- for 2 months and now I’m just flying through 170? That’s fine by me! 😅 Did nothing else than reduce my carb intake and eat more fat/protein. Exact same calorie intake. Going to the gym to meet my physical therapist in an hour. Update on how it went tomorrow 😄 Super excited! Hope everyone has a nice day.
8/29 – 173.2 (-0.7) Physical therapy yesterday was awesome. Focused on balance and core. We decided that it’s smart to focus most on butt, hips and legs to start with. She was so awesome and understanding and didn’t want to pressure me until i faint. Gonna see her again on Friday :-D Aiming for exercise 5 times a week in the long run, but I have to build up a bit first. I think I can safely say that I have managed to reach my challenge goal weight this round, super happy!

Goal Weight 274
Final Goal 190
8/26 - 276.5 lbs (-.05) lbs Good start again. Had some fajita chicken smothered in garlic butter sauce last night and thought I would hold or gain water. Nice to see neither happened.
8/27 - 276.5 lbs (No Change) Not unexpected after so many days of good losses. Staying under calorie and carb limits. Last round I was well under those limits. Easing up a bit this round but still expecting to reach my goal for round 51.
8/28 - 274.5lbs (-2.0) lbs Well that was a pleasant surprise. I was not expecting that much of a loss but I'll take it. Staying on a routine has been good for my weight loss program. I am leaving tomorrow for a week visit to family in Houston and thats going to make it hard to stay on my routine. I will do the best I can and since after tomorrow I can't weigh in each day till I get back on the fourth I will update how the routine is or is not going. Hang tough everyone. It's getting done!
8/29 – 274.0 (-0.5) lbs Round 51 Goal Reached!! Perfect timing as we are off to Houston later this morning for a visit with family. We will be gone until next Monday so no weigh in until then but will be posting daily updates on how the routine is (or is not) going. I have been doing a lot of Subway salad meals for dinner and that seems to be just filling enough while keeping the carb intake in check. Good to know I can find a Subway most anywhere today. Helpful to stay in focus and on track.

A late start as ended up away again!
8/28 - 144.70lb - bank holiday didn't go as planned - late nights, too much socialising, a BBQ and then ended up staying round a friends with way too much good food and then a take away But had a great weekend, back to normal(ish) today (kids last week off school) and feel like I've had enough food to last me a lifetime at the minute! Back in control so a good food day today, gym tonight and pretty sure alot of this weight is a "whoosh" that will be long gone by the end of the round......
8/29 - 142.1 (-2.6lb) and the whoosh had started. Nothing fancy just plenty of water and back to sensible healthy eating. Feeling better already 👍

Yesterday was a salad day and I filled up so much on veggies, fruit, and protein that I just couldn't eat any more. I figure the low calories won't hurt short term, and I'm pretty excited to be less than 2 pounds from my goal for the year. This is uncharted territory!

Lots of special events coming up this week. A champagne breakfast for a friend tomorrow, Monday a retirement reception for our beloved pediatrician, Wednesday a goodbye lunch for our summer staff who are leaving to go back to school (Ethiopian food - tracking that will be a challenge). Also on Wednesday our wedding anniversary dinner 32 years! , and on Thursday an end of summer ( ) BBQ. I am hoping for maintenance this round.

I was so hungry that I managed to eat enough food.
I believe so @tiabirdie56 , I don't get hungry so I really go off of that. My OMADs are not small either, I eat a pretty hefty meal, but my body has really adjusted to the One meal, so it is really a habit now. I believe I have enough stored "energy" that my body is not needing anything extra right now. In the past I have used OMAD to drop my BF%, but when it gets low enough, combined with strength training, I had to increase to 2 meals in order to get enough fuel.4 -

Day/Weight/Comment
8/26 154.8 Impromptu much needed date night last night, adult beverages and fried appetizers but so worth it. Last round was difficult, although I did pull it together at the end. My plan for this next 10 days is to continue my 5/7 days of exercise, log everything (some nights when I go off the rails I don't log) and get to152 for this round. My weight loss has slowed, but that is a direct result of my actions. Just remembering its a long game, not a sprint, and slow loss is still good because it is giving me more time to truly ingrain the habits and the lifestyle that will make this loss sustainable for the long haul.
8/27 WEIGH IN DAY 155.2 Hmmm...Too much snacking and not enough moving. Ate at maintenance yesterday. Today is Monday, a new week. I have had 2 rounds of stagnancy, this means that if I get a hold of my sticktoitiveness I can reach my 152.xx goal without much crying!
Time to refocus on why I am doing this.
1. I want to feel good about my body
2. Hard is good.
3. I like to work towards a goal.
4. I am setting an example for my family
5. This is the only body I get, and I want to take care of it
6. I really want to reach my goal and take an impromptu trip to Maui as a reward! (...though I may not be able to leave my puppy...he's so attached to me and I to him!)
8/28 154.2 Good day yesterday eating, walking, and overall. Just piping in that it really helps me to read everyone's successes and challenges. We seem to go in waves...
8/29 154.8 It appears I am stuck hovering here since the beginning of round 50. I know I have not been as diligent as when I started the challenge at keeping my calories low, but I have not gone over excessively. My weight did hold here at 155-157 for several years, so maybe it's my comfort weight? Slightly chubby but not too bad? I know I need to step up the exercise so I can see inch results, and I have to a degree, but have been putting off the next level. I will take measurements later and see if there is any change there since my weight loss has slowed to .5 lb a week.

Round 44 End Weight = 165.8 (5.2 lbs lost)
Round 45 End Weight = 164.9 (0.9 lbs lost)
Round 46 End Weight = 159.6 (5.2 lbs lost)
Round 47 End Weight = 157.2 (2.4 lbs lost)
Round 48 End Weight = 155.2 (2.0 lbs lost)
Round 49 End Weight = 151.2 (4.0 lbs lost)
Round 50 End Weight = 149.9 (1.3 lbs lost)
Stats = 5'4 female, age 48
Highest Weight = 172 lbs
Initial Goal Weight = 139 lbs (last weighed this is 2013)
Ultimate Goal Weight = 129 lbs (last weighed this in 2011)
Round 50 Goal: Anything under 149.0
Exercise Plan = The Betty Rocker 90 Day Challenge (in weeks 6-7 of 12), run outside 3-4 times a week, get 8,000-10,000 steps/day
Nutrition Plan = Continue to limit gluten, dairy, sugar, diet soda, alcohol & eat non-processed foods, protein/fruit/veg at every meal, complex carbs at breakfast and post workout meal, drink plenty of water.
8/26 = 149.9 (no change from yesterday) My sleep and nutrition are struggling, those go hand in hand. I've not going enough sleep since Wednesday of last week and my nutrition choices are suffering for it. I haven't been going over calories, just not make the best choices. I plan to grocery shop and do some meal prep today and get this under control. I completed day 35 of my 90 day challenge exercises yesterday, so it is the start of week 6 exercises on the plan today. School starts back here this Thursday and I'm really looking forward to it for selfish reasons. As soon as my daughter gets on the bus, I have time in the mornings before work to be able to get a quick run in or go for a walk. Summers are hard for me getting my runs in because even though she is 12, I can't leave her home alone even for a quick run and my husband is rarely home due to work. Wishing everyone a great start to Round 51!
8/27 = 149.9 (no change from yesterday) This seems to be a pattern the last couple of rounds, sticking at a certain weight for a couple of days at the beginning. No worries here Yesterday was a great exercise day, went for a 2 mile run, a 2 mile walk and did day 36 of 90: Body Squat to Knee Lift Crunch, Inchworms, Side Lunge to Front Lunge, Supermans with Alternating Extensions, Wall Hold Ups, Ninja Side Kicks, & Get Ups. My run felt really strong yesterday, I could feel new strength in my quads when I hit some hills. As a "recovering" distance runner, it has taken a while to settle in to doing these short runs instead but I am re-discovering my love of running in the process. It is much easier to love something that is making your body feel stronger compared to distance running which had evolved into something that was just taking a toll on my body with injuries. "Run often, run long, but never outrun your joy of running."
8/28 = 149.9 (no change from yesterday) So still holding at this number...Yesterday was a rest day in my exercise challenge and I ate closer to maintenance for calories. I am predicting the scale will drop tomorrow Today, I have day 38 of 90 exercises and I plan to get a walk in as well. I also took my measurements this morning. When I 1st started, I was taking these every 5 days, but have dropped to taking every week/week & half. I looked back to my start measurements on 6/14 and WOW! I have lost 5.5 inches on my waist & 6.5 inches on my bust. My measurements have decreased all over but those are the 2 biggest changes. Feeling very inspired now, if you haven't already done this, start now, take your measurements!
8/29 = 149.9 (6th day at this weight) Well, let's officially call it, I'm at a plateau. I feel like there is nothing left to do but ride this out, I'm doing everything I need to do to lose weight, so just going to let nature take it's course. The scale will drop eventually, I have plenty of weight left to lose. I'm in a okay mindset about this, so all is good here. The awful heat and humidity returned here this week, they are even delaying school openings today in some nearby cities but thankfully today should be the last day of it. My daughter starts school tomorrow, 7th grade! I can't believe it, really hoping for a great year for her. Last year was very difficult for her academically, socially, & emotionally. But she seems to be excited for school to start, has a small group of good friends now, and she got a advisor that she really likes, so all signs point to a good start. And with the start of school tomorrow, so ends my summer sleep-ins. We'll be up 1 &1/2 hours earlier, ACK! So that means an earlier weigh-in time too, interested to see what happens on the scale tomorrow. Stay strong everyone! "Strength doesn't come from what you can do. It comes from overcoming the things you once thought you couldn't do."

8/26 162 woohoo! Going to try and be good today, another birthday celebration. We are having taco salad and I know there will be cake!
8/27 161 yayy! I ate under my goal yesterday, but I skipped dinner since I had a big lunch I wasnt hungry.
8/28 161
8/29 161 still doing well not going over my calorie range, but having more days where I'm not eating enough and I can't close out my diary. Going to try and get to the grocery store today to get some more fruits/veggies, so I can snack on those on days when I need the extra calories. I'm happy that I'm getting full quicker though, that's a plus. A couple months ago I wanted to eat everything in the house!

8/26 - 154.5 - I've got a birthday party today, cataract surgery tomorrow, and a picnic next Sunday. I'm hoping I can drop a little weight this round with all the events this week.
8/27 - 155.5 - I think I ate around maintenance calories last night, so this was probably some water retention. I had my cataract surgery this morning and then I ate the leftover birthday food today, so tomorrow probably won't be any better.
8/28 - 156 - Ouch! Hopefully I can get back to work tomorrow and get back on track.
8/29 - 156 - I'm not feeling quite confident enough to get to work today, but I've been staying on track with my food the past couple days. I hope the weight goes back down soon.

@TerriRichardson112, Thank you Terri! I looked at myself in the mirror, clothes are not only loose, but baggy too. NOT attractive. I am really going to have to get my sizing right before the weather turns cold.
@Vanguard1, Yes, I figured that you were probably just not hungry and didn't eat enough. OMAD really is working for you! I would love to switch to OMAD one day, but I am a gainer if I don't eat enough. Ironically, doing a 24 hr fast does work for me. Puzzling.
@mthomas0228, I think maybe right now you're just dealing with some fluid retention. Try drinking hot lemon water in the mornings, parsley tea or parsley in your salads. Dry skin brushing works to stimulate your lymph and release fluid. Rebounding exercise is a fun way to stimulate lymphatic flow. I know it's frustrating to be the same weight and you're doing everything right. A true weight plateau is 3 weeks or more. That takes some serious evaluation of what you're doing or not doing to break it. The last time I experienced a plateau was December 2017. It lasted one month. I restarted my Sparkpeople membership and joined their plateau busting challenge. It is 30 days of different techniques to break your plateau. My plateau ended in one week.6 -

Day/Weight/Comment
8/26 - 121.6 Had a lot going on (again). I was able to stick to my plan of no added sugar. Telling myself "I'm done eating" is difficult. The worst time of the day is at night... it seems like once I eat, I continue eating. The "Kitchen is Closed" sign is going to have have a padlock on it! Goal is to live this life for God and to be continually thankful for the life he has given me. I need to take care of this body in the best way I can. Sometimes my mind gets a little obsessed with food and I cave in. Yes, I know what I am supposed to do, but it is so hard and sometimes I give in which creates a spiraling effect.
8/27 - 121.6 – got a nice bike ride in. VERY humid and did the “big” hill!
8/28 – 123 – Did good yesterday and am thinking the weight gain is due to salt. I guess we’ll see tomorrow! Swam 30 minutes this morning, so I’m off to a good start! 14 mile bike ride.
8/29 – 123 – Not happy that the weight didn’t go down. Food was good but I need to drink more water. Night time (after dinner) is still an issue. Goal for today is to stop eating when my calorie max is reached. Did water aerobics this morning with a bike ride planned for this afternoon.
