    I'm allowed to start knee pushups in a couple of days. Told me to lay off the full pushups for a while as he doesn't want the tear to turn into a hernia. And neither do I lol. The good news is I'm almost pain free while swimming which is my top priority. :blush:

    excellent news! Modify - modify - modify to what best meets your current needs and physical situation. let us know how your swimming goes .... last month I spent the second half reports steps and push-ups at all.

    Sept 3: 3 bk pu
    Sept 4: (3 bk pu)x2 morning plus evening
    Sept 5: (2 bk pu)X2 morning plus evening
    Sept 6: 4 bk pu before supper plus 2 bk pu before bed.
    Sept 7: 3 at suppertime; forgot to do the other bedtime set
    Sept 8: 3 at 8:30 pm
    Sept 9: 2 am + 3 bedtime
    Sept 10: 3 am + 3 after work +4 just now
    Sept 11: 4 am

    (getting behind on my logging, so just going to say "none on Sept 12 or 13 ... even though I don't think that's correct)

    Sept 14: 6 at noon (maybe more by the end of the day; will update total IF that happens ... )
    Sept 15: 3 evening
    Sept 16: 2 evening
    Sept 17: 3 am
    Sept 18: 3 am

    September total (to date): 61

    Started back today. Only doing knee pushups but discovered they can be just as difficult if you keep your elbows tucked in.

    51 today.

    Power outage due to tornado Friday evening to Sunday evening. That shouldn't have interfered with push-ups but somehow didn't get around to them. Back to work and back to discipline of push-ups today.
