I HAVE to reach my goal this time. I'm going to make it happen.
Day/Weight/Comment
10/5- 186.3- I don't want to get too excited because I'm just going to jinx myself again lol. But I'm happy the scale is going back down again! No rice until I hit my goal! I really want to get to 185.0 though. I've been hovering in the upper 180s for a while now. Gotta get down to the lower 180s. Going to make this round the round I get to it! It's Friday but I'll try to do well today so the scale goes down some more. REALLY want to get to 185.something!
10/6- 185.6- Yay! I got there. Spoke it into existence I guess lol. But that's not my mini goal until it's 185.0 so got a little ways more to go. Going to try to do well this weekend. Not planning on doing anything that would make me go over my calories but weekends. Yesterday was under my calories. Went to chipotle, was pretty darn healthy in my choices. I've changed a lot since the past- I used to get a loaded burrito with cheese and all the works. Now I get a bowl, lots of veggies, no cheese, no tortilla on the side like I used to. Just making good choices for my health. Pretty proud of myself.

@deepwoodslady, {{{hugs}}} to you. Thank you Donna for putting the word out about what things can be done to help people with breast cancer, receiving a breast cancer diagnosis and recovering from breast cancer.
For you and your hair growth, have you tried any natural products? Aloe vera gel, mixed with pure vitamin E oil and organic lavender oil as a scalp massage and daily hair treatment. That is a simple, but effective mixture to stimulate hair follicles, soften and strengthen hair. There are other beneficial essential and carrier oils that can be added, along with MSM sulphur and biotin, but this simple combination can be effective usually without causing any irritation. I use it and make it for family members.3 -

Hi
I am a female, 30 years old, 5' 6"
Just started using the every other day diet on 10/4 upon weighing 175 that morning. I have gained about 40 lbs over the past year and a half... After losing it all in the first six months after baby. I did the same thing after baby #1. Gained my pregnancy weight while BF minus the baby ! So here we go again. After my first down day I had lost about 6 lbs of water weight so my real starting weight is probably about 169.

Dr. has me on a prescription shampoo, a prescription hair oil (expensive) and on prescription prenatal vitamins. I use the oil and shampoo twice per week, sleeping in the oil. Shampoo stays on 15 minutes then back in the shower for the rinse. 1/2 of a prenatal vitamin daily. I also get multiple needle shots with some sort of medication in them all around my head every 6 weeks. If it would not skew the results of my drs. plan and testing, I think I could use about anything in between. My resources are limited in my area, but anything I could order online would work. I would need a recipe. My daughter gets essential oils from a local distributor. Young Living is the brand. Thanks for any information you could share. I go back to the dr. in about a month and can check with him. Nothing I've tried on the market or from the salon has worked, no matter how expensive. It's nice to hear ideas and results from someone who has actually used a product or recipe.
BTW, my hear grows fine, as I always need my cut & styles. It just comes out profusely. It makes me feel like I have cancer all over again and is very emotionally upsetting. During my cancer & treatments I really felt like an alien. Breast cancer is hard for a woman. First you lose a breast or two (or part of them, your choice), then you lose all your hair. Then all your eyebrows, eyelashes, body & private hair etc. Soon, you look in a mirror and don't even feel like a woman anymore. More like an alien. You don't recognize yourself. It really helps when your hair comes back. It's not about a cosmetic thing. It's about feeling like a human being, and especially feeling like a woman as we tend to do so much with our hair that men don't usually do. When it came back, it was wonderful. Then, after a time, it all started falling out again. Not as bad as during the chemo (no complete baldness), but really bad with wide parts and some bald spots that form. I escaped with my life and I don't want to seem ungrateful or petty. My kids were underage at the time and I hated looking so sick in front of them as I wanted them to have faith that I would survive.
Happily, my health is good for a few years now. My annual cancer check is in late October at University of Michigan. It is a very long trip for me and an overnight 2 day ordeal. I will let you all know how it goes but I'm feeling pretty good about it again. 90% of my journey to lose weight is about estrogen fed cancer cells that can form in my fat cells. Losing weight greatly cuts my chances of recurrance. I am so happy to have so many of you helping me during my weight loss journey and my personal battles. You are at the top of that list Tish. Thanks so much. I look forward to the recipe when you have time. Posting it may help others too.

10/05 155.6 sllooowwly inching off. Worked out good yesterday, ate well and 1.2 liters of water. Hate that I can't get enough water in... I need to get my head in the game. It was absolutely gorgeous yesterday and I was so happy to have a nice day again, fully knowing it is one of last nice days I decided to take full advantage of it. My dog sure loved me for it too lol more then 40 minutes of walking, breathing in the fresh air and just enjoying life. It ended up being a really great day!!
10/06 no weigh in. Last night went out late and woke up this morning and immediatley went out to pick up some stuff up for thanksgiving dinner tomorrow so didn't weigh in before eating. But I did work out, stay under calories and drank 1 liter of water so at least last night's outting won't effect tomorrow's weigh in

I really love this challenge and the participants, it makes me under control somehow. Even I cannot reach my goals, it's really better than nothing. So the previous challenge I really lost a little weight (0.3 kg/0.9 lbs) and that motivated me.
My goals for this challenge:
Drink enough water
Exercise 3-4 times in a week
Try to not eat junk food and drink max 3 glasses of alcohol in a week (I don't wanna be hard on myself because I can't)
Eat nutritious food, not just all carbs
10/5 85.3 kg (188 lbs)
I got really sick yesterday, I was exhausted, lost too much water, however, also drank so much water. I couldn't eat enough.
10/6 85.1 kg (187.6 lbs)
Yesterday I was still sick, and I couldn't move and couldn't eat enough. I'm not sure that this number is my true weight or not. But I hope I could see 84's in this challenge.
10/7 84.6 kg (186,5 lbs)
Obviously, I'm losing water because of sickness. I don't drink enough water. Also, I drank a glass of wine it was really unnecessary and it made my stomach sicker. However, this morning I'm feeling better.
