Hello!

Hello there! My name is Heather. I'm 18 years old, an online college student, and I'm using myfitnesspal to lose weight.

I'm overweight for my age; weighed myself earlier this week and was about 253 pounds. I'm rather tall, though (about 5'7"). I've pretty much been overweight for most of my life. I realized I was noticeably chubby as a toddler when looking back on old recorded home videos!

My mother and I made an agreement to start losing weight together on October 1st, but it's difficult for me to break the habit of snacking late into the night as I do stay up quite late.

I plan to have the second week of October as the true start to my weight-loss journey.

I set my weight-loss goal to 140 pounds. It will take a long time to get there, but it will be worth it!
