Weight loss changes so much in a person. What are some things you never thought you'd say?
Mine are:
"I love the gym." (I used to be a total couch potato before this journey!)
"Salad is one of my favorite foods." (I used to HATE salad, now I love it.)

Used to do everything I could to avoid exercising, now I hate a morning when I don't do at least a small workout. the change in energy level for the rest of my day is noticeable!

I love running
I don't need that donut
I'd rather chew my calories (instead of drinking soda)
I better get walking to burn this off1 -
I don’t feel well and it’s so humid outside but I want to get my walking in (last evening:)).
I’m not really hungry so I’m not having a snack right now.
How can I work more steps into this situation.3 -
"I need to buy more (weight) plates"
I never did much of any strength training and when I bought my first barbell/plates combo (300lbs) I remember saying to my wife that "I'd never need to buy more". One year later I was out-squatting that 300lbs so I bought another set so I'd have a second bar for supersets (was also more cost-effective than buying new plates a la carte). Now I'm to the point I could use a few more plates so I can superset Squats and Deadlifts at more than 300lbs/ and probably should upgrade the bars to be rated for a higher weight. Certainly have exceeded expectations for my strength capabilities in 3+ years of lifting.6 -

I said that for so long when losing, that now, 10years later, the whole slice really is overpowering. I'm shocked, so is my family.

As a teenager, I hated hikes. always found them boring as hell. Now I'm glad to have some peace and quiet for a few hours.5 -

I love the gym!
I only need one slice of bread (still love me some thick white loaf but I'm more than happy with wholemeal medium now - plus the calorie save is lovely!)2 -
10 lbs left to goal weight

Actually saying "No thank you, I'm fine." when my husband offered to bring me brownie blast ice cream with all the toppings during family movie night.8

Yup! Same here. Went from sweltering hot all the time to constantly cold.1 -

Before I would have been happy to have the excuse to not exercise.2 -

I was thinking the same thing. I never cared for them before, now I can't wait to roast some tonight.1
