Today in the office I was told by a colleague that they see me go to the gym every lunch over the last 18 months (Known me for 3 years) and he hasn’t seen me loose any weight or imagine me lifting any real weight.
I tried not to laugh

'It's a great outlet for my pent-up rage due to working with *kitten*holes like yourself'24

I was enjoying it so much today I nearly didn’t go back 😂8

No accounting for fools. Blind, stupid and tactless.6

What an *kitten* and an idiot.
Well done on your progress!5 -
Well you need to send him those pics and say you didn't want him worrying, you're doing just fine. What an a$$hat6
-
He obviously needs detailed info about your daily workout and meal plan, ad nauseum.10
-
I think your success makes him feel inferior so he's trying to ruin your momentum. Keep going. When others mention your success to him, it'll really bother him. Jealousy rears it's ugly head. Your are doing great!12

why lift in socks?4

1. What a douche
B. You could always tell him that he's right: "working out" is just a cover story. You're actually carrying on a torrid long-term lunchtime affair with (pick one: a hot female celebrity, a hot male coworker, an unlikely male coworker, your boss, his boss, his wife).

2baninja - It provides a flatter platform than shoes which have a lean forwards as the heel is slightly higher.
Better balance and better platform for a heavy lift.
You can get flat lifting shoes or better shoes than the trainers I wear but it less outlay to lift in socks for dead’s.
Better base in short1 -
Well clearly your coworker needs their eyes checked!3

I would have laughed in his face.

Taking the high road will serve better - harboring feelings after the event usually gets me in trouble with my eating challenges - ruminating can set me back. I have this on my fridge: The one who apologizes first is the BRAVEST. The one who forgives first is the STRONGEST. The one who forgets first is the HAPPIEST. I have to be changing my lifestyle because it is right for me to do so. I can be hooked on feedback and when I don't get what I expect, I pout, feel discounted, etc. It is not my job to get into his/her head. It is not their job to notice my change. It is my job to learn how to be a duck and let most stuff roll off my back.10

Your workmate is probably jealous. But I had to comment on the fact that you look 5 1/2 years younger than your original picture, not older. Well done!!!5

I work out using my office gym on my lunches most days. I can’t stand the comments from people “ohhhh are you on a diet?!” Ugh. Just let me get in my 30 minutes of exercise in peace lol5

Im guessing he had his dog with him? ya know his guide dog because he must be blind .....that or just a rude dickhead who feels the need to try and put people down even when they are smashing it4

Jealousy, plain and simple. You look great and the work you have put in is obvious:)3

People are jerks sometimes. I also think a lot of people think if a guy lifts he's supposed to be all gigantic and bulky. It's annoying. My brother-in-law thinks this. He's morbidly obese and lifts and thinks that his body is basically Arnold Schwarzenegger! haha
I've had the jerky comments too. I don't lift but I do hike a LOT and have since I was at my almost-heaviest. I used to get "hmm you don't look like a hiker, is that safe?" when I was heavier...now I get the SAME comments "you look kind of wimpy to hike that difficult trail, are you sure you can do it?" I just ignore it.5 -
Your workmate might just be clueless and not mean...depends on the person...
Your progress is amazing in any case!!!3
