Honestly, I don't set goals; I just go Zen and live a healthy lifestyle.8

You didn't capitalize 'Jesus'.
I think you might be in trouble with him now.6 -
I'm pretty much where I want to be fitness wise, which is to say I have a good, strong cardiovascular system and I'm strong enough in the weight room. I didn't do any big events this year...too much going on and it's been an injury plagued year...so maybe I'll do a 1/2 century next year.1

On June 4, 2017 I weighed in at 398. This was the first goal I had reached on my journey down from 410. My first goal was to weigh less than 400 lbs. Since then I’ve had a lot of small goals to keep me going and motivated along the way.
Lately I have noticed a weakening in my resolve in terms of weekend eating especially. I need a goal and a deadline to work towards other than my overall goal weight of 180 which often feels so far away.
Current weight is 245 and today’s date is Nov 4, 2018.
My goal is that by June 4, 2019 I will weigh under 200 lbs. This will be two years and 200 lbs lost. That will be amazing!
I need to lose 47 lbs minimum in 7 months to be exactly 200 down. If I stay focused I should have no trouble to reach this goal and ideally I will beat it. But I will not fail to reach it.
I will be under 200 lbs by then and I will never let myself go above that weight again.

I second @leut_underpants - very impressive! Good luck! If this past year is any indication you definitely have the resolve to hit your goal by June 2019 👍🏼2 -

I want to be able to hike when i visit BC in july next year, i don’t think i could hike for 5 mins right now without being out of breath 😂2

To keep walking more, and increasing my distance. And to keep losing weight.
I started in May 2018 at 305, currently at 234. I can now regularly walk 2.5 to 3 miles daily with no issues. The 2019 goal is to walk a half marathon. And by my birthday month of July be under 200 pounds. Last goal, maybe more of a wish, is with doing above to see can I get off one or two more of the medications I take as a diabetic, have been one for close to 18 years. So um yeah some big goals.2 -

Can we not? I don't even know what I'll be doing tomorrow.3

Walking kept me 10 pounds under my highest healthiest weight despite consuming whatever/whenever, during my 20's & early 30's!
I usually only walk 1 mile now once monthly, when running errands but February 10th, I was able to walk the entire 4 mile round trip within the opposite direction of my 1 mile walk home! I'd to be able to do that at least once annually, for 3 years or just 3 times within less that time because by then, I'll be 40 years old & thus, I won't risk attempting that feat afterwards!2 -

I completed one in 2010. I was much younger and far less caffeine-fueled then. I’d like to get back to that level of physical fitness again.
Plus. Cabo for a week. Why not?
Also, I scheduled my trip around the race being on day 2. That way I can enjoy myself for the rest of it.4 -

Damn that’s awesome. Definitely got a great plan worked out. How does the training regime look?
Better live it up. I’ve run several half’s and I think that’s my limit. I’m fairly certain I would drown before I made landfall with an Ironman0 -
I'm basically OK just continuing on with the way things are going, but I think I could try new things. I've been maintaining at goal weight for several years now, and I've hit all my fitness goals long ago. I'm happy with my fitness and confident about my body. I could just keep going with the standard goal of getting stronger and faster, etc., but that's automatically what I try to do anyway.
I just think I could have more fun if I tried out some new fitness activities in addition to my usual favorites. I might try some belly dancing, rock climbing, maybe martial arts or a new sport. Something different just to shake up the routine...
Great question, OP. It got me thinking.1 -

Right now, I’m starting slow. My goal is swim for an hour and then run for 30 minutes three times a week. Im already cycling on the weekends. 50 miles is usually right around the 3.5 hour mark, so I feel I am in a good place with that and can increase the duration over time gradually. I just booked this on a whim last week, so I’m still working out all of the details.0 -
