11/04 193.9 Bloating is awful.
11/05 191.5. I’m happy, but I don’t think this number will stick. It’ll probably go up to 192.x, hover there, and then come down again.
11/06 190. I think this is a woosh, or my body actively trolling me. “You think I’m going to regain that water weight? Well then I’m gonna drop another pound and a half! Deal with it!” I’m happy, but I’m also kind of in shock lol.
11/07 191.3. Knew yesterday’s weight was too good to be true. Oh well. This number is nice too.
11/08 191.3.
11/09 193. Overate yesterday, but most of this water weight I think. Will try to drink a lot of water today and get in a good sweat session.

11/09 - 160.6 – Good day yesterday – did a final tidy up outside and that’s pretty much it till next spring. Today it’s snowing like mad and I get to stay home as husband needs the car. We get a loads of heavy, wet snow here (we’re a ski town) which is nasty to drive in but sure is beautiful to watch coming down. I am doing exercises from an old program (Calanetics) in between housework, class prep, writing and hopefully knitting.
Here we refer to that type of snow as Sierra Cement1 -

11/04- Couldn't weigh in this morning because I was at grandmother's house! I did go to a wedding party yesterday but half of my plate was salad and I only had a little bit of rice. The rest was sabzi (cooked spinach) and protein. Pretty proud of controlling myself tbh. Nonetheless, rice does make me retain water so maybe weight went slightly up (but I don't feel guilty at all because I haven't had rice in a while so I'm proud of myself and being reasonable!). Had a light salad for lunch which was satiating, delicious, and calorie-appropriate so will be under calories today so hopefully that'll help undo any damage due to yesterday but we'll see. Won't beat myself up if not, but staying focused the next few days.
11/05- 183.5- There it is lol. Staying focused today. Maybe we can make this go down tomorrow.
11/06- 184.5- Had to rush this morning. I don't think this is accurate. We'll see tomorrow!
11/07- 183.0- That major fluctuation scared me. Happy that it's a bit better. Was not rushed this morning so I have a healthy lunch and everything. Got a lot of studying to do. I think this should go down tomorrow. I feel in control. Also did HIIT yesterday. It felt really good. It was easy and at home. Will try to do this every night.
11/08- No weigh in
11/09- 184.0- Ugh. I've been eating not as well this challenge. Just kind of doing maintenance. I'm going to stop this and begin to follow the exact meals that I did a while ago when I was losing weight.

11/04 - Out of town.
11/05 - 145. Coming back from a fun weekend out of town. Walked a lot and also ate plenty.
11/06 - Did not weigh. I didn't forget, I just really didn't want to. Logically, I know that weighing doesn't change anything (or more accurately: not weighing does not undo any of the overeating), but I demolished a bag of chips last night and did not want to see the number this morning. Onward to better behavior tonight!
11/07 - 145. Did better yesterday with exercise and eating. Acknowledging my mistakes here helped, along with wanting to be able to come back today and report improvements.
11/08 - 145 again, but yesterday was a good day. Step goals met, calorie goals not exceeded. Today, all three meals are professional events, so some challenges to navigate there.
11/09 - 145. The dinner last night was a lot of fun. We didn't make it home until midnight, so no exercise. Today is a family birthday. I'm off to get a chocolate cake from a local bakery. Hoping for the strength to avoid their amazing ham and cheese croissants... It's probably late enough in the day that they will have already sold out and saved me from temptation. Chocolate cake isn't my favorite so it's a great one to bring home, but those croissants are another matter altogether.

Never too late to join right! will try really hard this time to log when im off. I failed last week but I did eat well and workout. I had a little too much to drink on the weekend bc of the football game. I paid for earlier this week + TOM I was a little bloated but it seems to have evened itself back out now.
Ended last round at 193.8
11/9- 194.0 3/5 workouts complete. I missed a few days, its been hard for me to get up in the am so ive had to force myself to workout after work. I promised myself I will get a workout in this evening. hold me accountable9 -

11/04: 249.2
11/05: 247.6 - this makes me feel better. Maybe that gain was mostly water.
11/06: 247.2 - YAY! A loss! It may be little but at least it's something.
11/07: 246.2 - Woot woot! I've done really well the last few days and the scale is finally showing it! It feels like its been forever since I've seen a loss.
11/08: 245 - I love wooshes lol! I was so discouraged when the scale wouldn't budge but now I feel re-energized. It's amazing how weight loss works sometimes.
11/09: 242.8 - I stepped on the scale multiple times to verify this number. I'm amazed at how fast the weight is dropping after the long stall! I know it will taper off soon but it feels so good to see the scale dropping daily.

@quiltingjaine I do love beachbody too 😍😍 they have something for everyone but I don't buy any product beside the dvds. Thank you for telling me about their recovery shake though, I was thinking about purchasing it but at the same time wasn't sure...I like to hear people's experiences before making a decision about any endorsed product. I will just have to get my protein and carbs the natural way, with food lol...or make my own shake😄
I love peppermint bark, I usually like plain chocolate but for some reason around this time and at the beginning of Christmas count down peppermint anything tends to be my craving. I saw some in costco but decided to stay away don't trust myself to stop once I start. Going to have to the recipe you posted though...might just save me this year lol

@deepwoodslady that makes total sense! If I lived somewhere that didn't make it easy and available to eat certain things, when I did end up visit those areas I would probably go crazy too!! Sounds like you are also battling a habit and comfort while on your trips.
You do travel a lot though, right? Maybe try to treat yourself to one cheat meal while in the city and remind yourself you will be back in the city in no time and will have something else next time. Or try taking some thing that won't be an issue traveling with and take your craving home with you, eating healthy while in the city that way you have more control with the portions in your comfort zone. I honestly don't know when else you could do because I can't deny I would be in the same boat if I didn't live in the city 😣😣2 -

@AR10at50 Great job keeping the scale steady at your quilting retreat! You should post pictures of what you worked on!!
@deepwoodslady -- I do Chinese, Indian, Mongolian on low carb...I just pick the meaty (non-fried) options and skip the rice. It used to bother me to not have the rice, but now I like it! I also look for the loaded salads, with all the avocado, egg, cheese, bacon! I actually find eating out low carb slightly easier than eating out low calorie, because you can choose those decadent fatty things. Sometimes you can even ask them to sub in a vegetable for the rice, which is even better! On the happy side...congratulations for sticking to all those good choices when you are at home!10 -

11/5 167.5 18000 steps again.
11/6 168 Lots of steps, zumba & body weight exercises. Big deficit yesterday!
11/7 166 Walked, voted and then walked with friends. 17000 steps. So happy to see this number. I hope it sticks instead of bouncing up again!
11/8 165.5 So cool to have it move lower instead of the immediate bounce up! Was all ready to go out and walk this morning despite the threat of rain. And when it started raining as I drove my son to school I figured that was ok. But then when it started pouring and lightening, I decided maybe I should wait. I'm dressed and ready to go! Have a good day everyone!

11/04- Completed my first week of 10,000 plus steps.
11/05- Healthy eating, all meals planned. Walking steps 10,000 plus.
11/06- 10,250 steps in- I have pushed really hard, starting to run a little on the treadmill. Eating healthy! I remember in the month of April I could not bend down at all , could not take the bottom dishes out of the dishwasher. Due to brain tumour surgery.
11/07- 10,700 steps today, eating healthy, lots of vegetables.
11/08- Still getting my walking in hitting over 10,000, planned meals

Round 58 - SW 175.6, EW - let’s see what good habits bring...
woke up this morning with a curve ball: SICK! So, this time I actually took care of myself - went to urgent care, found out it’s not the flu, not strep - but a form of viral laryngitis (horribly sore throat). So, with a virus, my workout goals for these 10 days are changing. NSV: I would have just quit without this challenge — instead, I‘m adapting and WILL FINISH THESE 10 DAYS FOCUSEDHW: 213
LW: 148
CW: 175
UGW: 150-155
I was heaviest in late 90‘s/early 2000‘s, when I couldn‘t tie my shoes or walk around the little league field without losing my breath, it was time to change.
Lost 65 pounds over several years w/WW, SparkPeople, Beck Diet Solution (life changing!!!), MFP, Body for Life (and many more fitness books) and tracking diligently and working out. Became passionate about fitness and earned my trainer certification.
Fittest in 2009/2010/2011. Then a few years of curve balls: donated a kidney to my husband, had hip surgery, gained 10#, cared for my husband and lost him, moved half-way across the country with my job, job sucked (60-80-100 hour weeks), gained 20#, bought a house, found a new job last year, lost 10#.
Time to lose 10 or 20 more and have fun with fitness again... If you‘ve read this far, thanks for indulging my rambling...
Commitment for 10 days:
1 - track every day... I’ll log calories/macros here to keep me honest (gulp!)
2 - working out: No more pushing until after the virus — new goal: 30’ every day two red and two amber sessions...
I use the HeartWatch app and it’s colors for level of intensity are:
....... warmup/health
....... fat burn
....... building fitness
....... high intensity workouts
...Doing dates upside down so I keep the end in sight...

F 11/09 174.4 ** 1722 53/21/26 ** 30’ walk with the dog wow - thought i was taking it easy - the body truly does work harder when there‘s a virus in play too!! Also some light house cleaning and lots of couch time to rest... BONUS — I was still able to close all my apple-watch-fitness rings even being sick - woohoo!! I‘m still on track for closing them every day in November
T 11/08 176 ** 1741 50/22/28 ** rolling & stretching, walking the dog. Needed a good restorative workout after yesterday’s dorky class left me oddly sore. Gotta revise my warm up for next Wednesday’s class...
Revived an old habit — tracking my food before the day starts so I know I‘m on track... ended with better results for calories and macros - now we‘ll see what the scale says tomorrow...
W 11/07 175.6 ** 1856 48/20/32 core workout class
Glad to see the scale drop today - must have been sodium yesterday... New workout class this morning - sort of dorky but I’ll stick with it for 6 weeks - it will be good for me, lol... and it was a good workout after all :-)
T 11/06 177.0 ** 1599 46/23/31 ** power cleaned the house and walked the dog
UGH!! Up 1.6 this morning - yikes... good motivation to eat cleaner and stick to the calories and macros...
M 11/05 175.4 ** 2183 42/19/39 ** rehab and walked the dog

@kmfeig87 thanks for the ideas. You are absolutely right. If I skip the rice it would make all the difference. At home I only use cauliflower rice which is not yet available in any restaurants I've been to. However, I probably could live without the rice and treat myself to extra carry out egg drop soup as a treat to take home for later since it hardly has carbs (lots of sodium, but that easily passes). BTW, next time you make a list, I hope to be on it
@abowersgirl I love the idea of taking my "treat" back home where I feel SO MUCH MORE IN CONTROL. I do have to work on my strength and willpower, but when I feel strong enough, I will try this for sure. Nice job, BTW on your current loss. Your are like a steamroller smashing those pounds away. Good Job You!!!3 -

11/04: 67.5 - More than expected. Yesterday was a big day. My calorie intake looks ridiculous, but then I did have 4 1/2 hours on the judo mat. Was grading (got 20 points, woop!) and then squad training afterwards. And boy does my body feel it this morning. Everything hurts. And I seem to have gained a couple of interesting bruises (mostly on my shins). Hoping to keep under my burn going forward
11/05: 68.4 - Okay I wasn't expecting that. I mean I was, but not nearly that bad. Yesterday I went to a relative's birthday party, and there was plenty of food all the time (seriously, every time I turned around there were more nibbles, and I do have a problem with nibbles.) Dinner was curries (which I love to pieces), but I picked myself a small bowl and didn't overload it and I was honestly stuffed afterwards so I'm glad I went for the smaller size. Muscles still screaming this morning, so I'm hoping that's the reason for the enormous jump on the scales. I'm certainly feeling a little more puffy than usual, so I'm 90% certain everything is retaining water right now. Ended up slightly over maintenance calories which is annoying as so far this week I would have been in deficit every day, however it wasn't much, even with some fairly generous dinner allowance calories, so I'm still reasonably pleased with the whole situation.
11/06: 66.8 - And there it all goes. YaY! Yesterday was a mixed bag, I spend most of the day so very hungry. Mostly because I just didn't eat enough food in the morning, and then my lunch was laughably small, so I had to eat some chocolate to bump up the calories and kept myself distracted when I got home so I wouldn't want to eat all the food before dinner. Ended up keeping myself under my calorie goal, and then I went and judo-ed in the evening, something I didn't eat back any of the calories for, so my deficit for yesterday was pretty good. However, I'm not hopeful for a great day today as I look to my right and see that somebody in my office made cake and sausage roll. I'm already doing my best to not stare at it. Maybe I'll just try and maintain today and eat my deficit in cake lol.
11/07: 66.9 - *deepest sigh* I ended up over yesterday. Only just, and actually it was around my normal maintaining calories, but I really wasn't feeling 100% so I didn't do as much walking throughout the day, or any exercise in the evening, so my daily burn was much lower than normal. And yes it was all because of that blasted cake and sausage roll. And the worst bit was that it was really good and 100% completely worth the calories. I just wish I hadn't had quite as many slices as I did. But I suppose that's why I wasn't that hungry last night so I guess it's swings and roundabouts. Anyway, will be doing better today, no signs of cake or snacks appearing in the office so should be able to stick to target.
11/08: 66.6 - Another really tough day yesterday. Again I was feel really hungry all day. However, stuck to my guns and stayed mostly within range so ended up with a decent deficit at the end of it all. I am pleased to see that my stubbornness is paying off and I am dropping that weigh that's been lurking around.
11/09: 66.5 - Now if my weight could just pause there until the end of the round that would be grand. Hahaha, like that's going to happen. Anyway, another good day yesterday eating-wise. Stuck under my target deficit and even banked a few extra calories by finally donning the running shoes and going for a run. I think my pup very much enjoyed the run around the neighbourhood (he loves to run), but he pushed me hard. And has yet to learn not to run right in front of my feet, so there was a couple of times I almost tripped up on him. However, I'm hoping to get out again tonight in a vague attempt to wear him out and burn those few more calories that bring my average up. That, and I really want chips for lunch, and these rarely fit into my goals, so I'll have to work something out to bring my burn up.
11/10: 66.9 - Not at all surprised by that one. I'm blaming all those chips. Being that I wanted chips, so I has some for lunch. Aaaaand then I also has pie and chips for dinner. However I did go for a run (and to go out and buy the chips) which is the longest run I've done for some time. I looped around one bit twice because I was feeling good, and had I not been hungry I might have looped around a third time. Looks like I might need to find myself a slightly longer loop. And I paced myself so much better than Thursday. Still very slow going, but I'm so happy to actually be getting out there and going for a run. Food ended up over, but with the run (and some extra walking throughout the day) I've ended up with a very nice deficit.

11/05 83.1kg (+0.1kg) Had a much needed sisterday with lunch and walks.
11/06 83.3kg (+0.2kg) Expected that! Went out on a datenight with my hubby and eat way too much of all the good Thai stuff. But it was sooooo worth it
11/07 83.6kg (+0.3kg) Lost my motivation a bit, needed to eat the last piece of homedmade Dutch Applepie.... Just like @ heymossy I didn't want to weigh, and when I did, I didn't want to write it down here , but I needed the accountability, I needed to see it on paper. So it can help me to focus again!
11/08 83.3kg (-0.3kg) A day with excersize, relativation and relaxtion
11/09 83.3kg (-0.0kg) It was a hungry day.... but stayed focussed.
11/10 83.0kg (-0.3kg) Worked, ate well, hubby was home lat so between work and dinner I went on my elliptical and did a round of Strong Curves. After showering I measured myself and lost several cm's on legs and hip!!

11/04 - 65.1 kg (143.5 lbs.).
11/05 - 66.2 kg (145.9 lbs.). +2 kg over a weekend, logical result of 3000+kcal yesterday. Jillian Michaels in the morning. Plan for today: 3km walk during the lunch break and Jillian Michaels in the evening. Hope these 2 kg will disappear in a couple of days
11/06 - 65.2 kg (143.7 lbs.). -1 kg. 7km run in the morning. Planning to do “six-pack in 6 weeks” in the evening. Want to see my 64 kg again asap.
11/07 - 65.0 kg (143.3 lbs.).
11/08 - 64.6 kg (142.4 lbs.). Did “six-pack in 6 weeks” yesterday evening. 7km run in the morning.
11/09 - 64.2 kg (141.5 lbs.). Jillian Michaels in the morning + 10 min AB ATTACK with Shaun T.
11/10 - 63.7 kg (140.4 lbs.). SO HAPPY!!! I’ve never seen this figure on my scales. May be I was in this weight at the time we didn’t have scales at home. I have my menu for the weekend. And I will keep to it. I even squeezed in a couple of non-alcoholic beers (thanks’ God in Germany even non-alcoholic beer tastes) and a glass of wine for Sunday. And I am planning a big “freestyle” for today (a kind of intervals – walking + running) although the weather is not great. But it is only a matter of right clothes! LOOK FOLL! THINK BEFORE EATING SOMETHING THAT SEEING YOUR SCALES SLAP-HAPPY CANNOT BE COMPARED WITH A PIECE OF CAKE. This I wrote for myself in the first place. Svetlana be consistent!

11/04- didn't weigh
11/05- 211.2lb- Today has been easy enough, over 10,000 steps and kept within my calorie goal. Consistency is the key for me, must log in and be accountable tomorrow!
11/06- 210.8lb- feeling motivated today, iv got plenty of housework to be cracking on with and my meals are all planned out. 'Failing to plan is planning to fail', have a good day all X
11/07- 210.4lb- yesterday went very well, I logged everything, stuck to my calorie goal and did more steps than what I was aiming for. It's a low calorie day for me today, I'm going shopping for birthday presents for my little girls 5th birthday so hopefully that will keep me busy 🙂
11/08- 210.4lb- did over my 10,000 steps yesterday and stuck to my eating plan. Today I am aiming for 1400cals, I want it to be nutritious and filling though, no snacking and making sure I hit my protein goals.
11/09- 209.6lb- I hit all my targets for the day yesterday, a nice drop in weight to motivate me today. I'm feeling really on it at the moment.
11/10- 209.4lb- well I obviously jinxed myself, I did so well in the day yesterday, over 15,000 steps, loads of calories burned, and then I decided to have a glass of wine or two, then all self restraint went out the window. I was lucky to escape with any deficit at all. Feeling super hungry today now, I'm going to try having a low calorie day today, or that is the plan...

THERE ARE NO QUICK FIXES OR SHORTCUTS to achieve permanent change.
REMINDERS One or two thoughts which might give heart to some of you.- Daily weight fluctuations are normal, and can be as much as 2 lbs a day for no apparent reason.
- A general downward trend is what we are looking for.
- Eating out can cause apparent weight gain because of high sodium levels, but usually goes quickly. Drinking extra water helps with this.
- The human body does not react instantly to what we do to it. Sometimes it can take several days to see results.
- Plateaus are a normal part of the process. The body is consolidating and adapting to your new way of eating/exercising.
- The closer you get to your goal weight, the more difficult it becomes to lose weight, as your body becomes more efficient at using what you feed it.
- When you exercise you build muscle, which takes up less space than fat, so use measurements as well as weight to assess your progress.
- Getting/Staying fit and healthy requires a lifestyle change for most people.

Hi all! I'm going to give this another try. Was here a while ago for a few rounds but gave up because I kept losing and gaining the same 5lbs. I should have stayed because now I've kept those 5lbs on and added a few more 🙁
Day/Weight/Comment
11/04 - 258.8...not happy to be up to this again but it is what it is. Starting back on plan today, and no more excuses.
11/05 - 257.8...stayed under calories, 45 mins of exercise..gave a beginner's yoga YouTube video a try and learned that I'm super tight and not flexible at all! 100oz of water and no soda..I've decided to cut it out entirely.
11/06 - 255.8...stayed on plan, 30min walk and 100oz of water. Glad to know that some of my gain was water weight!
11/07 - 253.4..yay! So actually most of it was water weight 😀
11/08 - 251.2...surprised to see this number already, I'm sure I will probably stick around here for a couple of days. Very happy with it though.
11/09 - 250.6...starting to slow down now, so I guess all the water is finally gone. I had take out chicken strips for supper, which wasn't great, but I kept it within calories and didn't binge!!
11/10 - 249.6...woohoo!! Back to my lowest in July. My mind seems to be in the right place now and I don't think I'll get stuck here again. I've been reminding myself everyday (multiple times) that I control what I eat, not my cravings and I can still eat what I want as long as it fits into plan.

11/04 - 78.2kg, still incredibly bloated from my wild Friday but at least the scales came down a bit from the huge jump. Ready to smash this round and have no more cheat days until Christmas!
11/05 - 77.3kg, finally dropping down to where I was before Friday!! I have set myself a goal for the week to meet my step goal every day (I slack off on my days off). I’m going from Sunday-Sunday, met my goal yesterday and very close for today with still many hours of the day left
11/06 - 77.4kg, met my step goal for yesterday! Ate well, drank plenty of water!
11/07 - 77.3kg, ate well yesterday but didn’t meet my step goal :’( I was in a really bad mood when I got home from work and didn’t want to do anything. On a positive note I didn’t binge like I wanted to, or would have previously. On track to meet my goal today!
11/08 - 77.0kg, slow and steady...
11/09 - 76.8kg, I can’t complain, the scales are going down! Not meeting my step goal every day like I wanted to, but it’s okay. It’s Friday and I am NOT going to go over my calories like I always do!!!!

05/11: 87.8 kg (+1,2 kg) - Apparently weekend didn’t do any good to my weight, although I didn’t eat as much as it previously was during weekends. Have to be way more strict in the future.

08/11: 86.1 kg (-0.6 kg) - Status yesterday: Calories so so (1900), more than 7000 steps done
09/11: 85.6 kg (-0.5 kg) - Status yesterday: Calories OK, Pilates training done, step count - only about 5200, which is for sure not enough.
10/11: 85.8 kg (+0.2 kg) - Status yesterday: Too much food (about 2300 kCal) and only 6300 steps. So, not really surprised to weight increase today. Training is scheduled for tonight.
11/11: 86.3 kg (+0.5 kg) - Status yesterday: 2x20 min cardio, 40min weight lifting and stretching afterwards. 7000 steps done. Calories were in my opinion also OK (about 1900). So I don’t really get why did I gain more weight Hope it will be better tomorrow.

On the happy side...congratulations for sticking to all those good choices when you are at home!5 -

Back again! Just noticed yesterday (goal date) I was under my second short term goal weight despite the slight stall - so even though I've felt really "behind" in my journey I think I've found my patience again and I'm happy where I'm at.R38 SW 212.6 GW 210 EW 207.4 (-5.2)11/04 - Sunday - 179.6 - NSV on Saturday - went to moms to clean and help her unpack. She wanted to order from the pizza place (she has healthy habits so tends to use me as an excuse to "celebrate") but I said no thanks and had tuna and a salad! Then on Sunday - daylight savings morning was slow, lazy, and snuggly and I loved it. Went out running errands in the afternoon. Started a pot roast and headed out to clean up the yard. DH used to leaf blower, I raked up big piles, and we moved the tarp together for about 2 hours, but about 1 hour of active raking. I didnt eat enough protein in the day so I was super snacky after dinner but I managed to reign it in.

11/05 - Monday - 179.2 - A loss on a Monday?!!!?! Look what happens when I stay accountable on the weekends! Woohoo! Need to pick up a short list of things at the store before heading home after work. Milk, coffee, and shampoo. I want to make a crustless quiche tonight for breakfasts for the week, we got some yummy ham at the farm. Fish oil habit is coming back around and I started taking elderberry extract as everyone is sick! 10 minutes of yoga is also turning into a habit! Feels good to take care of myself!
11/06 - Tuesday - 179.4 - Munchies hit me last night but I did a decent job managing with just 6 chips and a fruit leather. I filled half my plate with broccoli at dinner and tried to fill up on that because I knew I was starving but didnt want to binge on pasta - needed more protein though which was apparent when the munchies hit me at like 8:30 - all good things to learn from though. Busy at work - reminding myself that I do better is most aspects of my life with MORE STRUCTURE. That includes work, health, finances, relationships. My morning habits are becoming solid again, I made sure to hang up all laundry last night, I've got several dinners ready to go, stress management has been improving - I'm finding my rhythm again!
11/07 - Wednesday - 178.6 - Feeling great! Saw a quote, "Non attachment is self love" speaking in regards to our ever changing body. Especially as women. I'm on this journey to better health, but I'm trying to love my body at every stage. I think for me, it's a huge part of this process, to learn healthy body image and self love. I've come a long way - I'm appreciating that my body is strong, gets me through each day relatively pain free, allows me mobility to do, go, see, be whatever I want to be! And the end goal being to get pregnant, I'm really trying to wrap my mind around "non-attachment as self love" because this body of mine is going to be changing thru many seasons and I want to love and appreciate all of those stages, not just an end result.
11/08 - Thursday - 177.8 - Wooooh! Wrapping my head around these 170's is a trip! I slipped on my newer size 10 jeans this morning after their first wash and dry thinking they would be snug but they were not! I saw myself in the mirror and did a double take. I checked out my weekly stats on the app yesterday and noticed how much a difference CONSISTENCY makes for me. I'm losing consistently because my calories, macros, and habits have all been consistent for the first time since middle of August basically. It looked like I held on to my habits for dear life thru the move, but then got confused while settling in and lost touch with that idea of consisitency - my days were high cal then very low cal on repeat - like a binge and restrict on a smaller scale but definitely being mindful of that behavior so I can pick up on it quicker in the future. I'm starting to feel like a healthy person! My mini mini goal is to be 175 by thanksgiving.
11/09 - Friday - 177.8 - Ate lunch out yesterday - chose a shrimp burger and a green side salad! Skipped appetizer, skipped dessert! Still felt heavy from "lighter" dining out choices so we had raviolis for dinner instead of the planned chicken fried steak. I managed to bring breakfast and pack lunch despite wanting to do otherwise. Dog is off to daycare today and already got her toe nails trimmed. It's Friday and I'm feeling good! Want to stay on track this weekend - also want to order out tonight - haha forever searching for that balance. But thats why I packed breakfast and lunch - I know I struggle on Friday nights, and usually when I don't statisfy a Friday craving - it turns into a weekend long snack search for what I really wanted. So 80/20 rule is in full effect this weekend! Happy Friday everybody!
11/10 Saturday - 178.2 - pretty sure i have swimmers ear. Did some comfort eating because of it last night. Need to make it thru the weekend and making a doctors appointment first thing Monday. Off to pick up the wood stove today. I'll eat my smoothie before i leave, and drink water! Need to take care of myself so i dont feel worse!

I am a 50 year old 5'5" woman. I am trying to get healthier to avoid diabetes and all of the problems that come from being overweight.
I have found this challenge to be both rewarding and frustrating! Looking at my weight daily has been a real eye opener to see all of the fluctuations and how a high carb day will affect me and the loss for 2-3 days after. On the other hand when I look at the big picture and the averages it has been a consistent loss except for two rounds. Round 53 was my 50 birthday celebrations that upped my weight for a few days.
I need to step up my game if I want to meet any of my goals.
