Don't like them? Don't make them. They are delicious and easy. Great to make and take to work the next day

Does anyone know if these would work with kidney beans?

I haven't tried them with kidney beans. They would be the same consistency but I'm not sure if they would bake the same. I'd be interested to see if they work out! Let us know if you try this and it turns out

This sounds a lot easier than the Great Purple Disaster of 2012 that happened to me... I will have to give these a try!

In case anyone was wondering, kidney beans worked well. Definitely go easy on the hamburger seasoning since mine turned out way too salty.

this sounds good and i have all the ingredients. tired of store bought veg burgers with loads of ingredients. will make a batch of this and if it's as good as it sounds i will definitely be making several batches at once and freezing them for quick dinners. yum!

Thank you for sharing. Going to make these tomorrow.

Here is a simple recipe for Hamburger seasoning:

    INGREDIENTS:
    2 teaspoons paprika
1 1/2 teaspoons ground black pepper
    1 1/4 teaspoons salt
    1/2 teaspoon dark brown sugar
    1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
    1/4 teaspoon onion powder
    1/4 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper
    DIRECTIONS:
    1. Combine in an airtight container; seal. Shake to combine. Store in a cool, dry place between uses.
    Make approx. 2 tablespoons

Bump. I think I'll make double cheeseburgers, one patty made of hamburger and one with black bean.
