Healthy on a budget

Recently, I decided to get back into counting my calories. A few years ago, I did it steadily and lost nearly 70 pounds doing so. Now, I’m getting back to it just because I’ve started to slip. However, I am a college student, so I’m curious what tips anyone has learned being healthy on a budget? I’ve noticed that fresh vegetables like sweet potatoes are cheap, and go a long way. Any suggestions?

Shop with the seasons, seasonal produce is usually on sale. Also buy in bulk and freeze what you can't eat right away.2

It's not what you eat so much as how much. If you continue to eat what you're eating now, but less of it, you'll be consuming fewer calories and spending less money than you are presently. Easy.3
