Hello. I am 44 and I do believe I just entered the perimenopausal phase. I managed to lose 65 pounds of fat and am now working on building muscle. However, was never able to lose that belly. Do suppose at my age with my hormones acting in the way are it's just meant to be that I'm just gonna have a belly forever?

Congrats on the 65 lbs loss.
No, I don't think it is age related. A person can lose core fat at any age.
If you think you are peri-menopausal have a thorough check up with your doctor.
Core strengthening, which you will get with weight lifting, and good posture will help.
Have a look through this thread. There are people of all ages, who started and ended at all weight ranges, showing their stomachs.

Don't let age be an excuse, it isn't.
Will you have the belly of a fitness model, probably not, but you can have your best belly.
Cheers, h.4
