December Pushup and Sit-Up Challenge

Inspired by the 100,000 pushups in 2018 thread, last month I set a goal of 5,000 pushups for myself. I finished that goal on the very last day of October. My long-term goal is to complete 100K-125K pushups in 2019.
So this month, my goal is 10,000 pushups.
My sit-up goal will be 5,000 for the month of December with a 2019 goal of 75,000.
So to divide this up evenly between all the days of month, I will need to perform:
323 Pushups/day
162 Sit-Ups/day
Seems like a doable challenge. I welcome anyone else that would like to join, feel free to set your own goals and track your progress here.

I think 300 would be a huge challenge
November I started
Day 1 I managed 3 on my knees
Day 2 5 on my knees
Then I did a full one down then switched to knees, cut a long story short by the end of November I could do 7 push ups.
My December challenge to get to 10 but also to aim at 300

Haha good luck! Yeah this will ne ther 3rd month I have done this, been steadily increasing, shooting for 125k in 2019 which is a little over 10k per month.1 -

Broke my finger yesterday Tried to do some pushups this morning and it was quite painful. I will see where I go from here, will keep updating the thread with sit-ups for now and do as many pushups as I can without injuring myself further until I feel more comfortable again.

Oh no! Yes, you definitely need fingers for pushups! It could take awhile for that finger to heal. Best of luck with that.0 -
