These successes are awesome... Also let's me know I am not the only one with very quick changes to body! Been on Keto for about a month and a half.

I'm so happy that I found keto. I'm 40 pounds down in 3 months. Still on it to reach my end goal of 160 lbs!

Medication induced weight gain. Before pic in yellow I was a comfortable 124. Could eat carbs all day, every day and nothing happened. Heck, I used to have an eating disorder- I was a binger and I still maintained my weight. Put on med. Jumped to 150 in 3 months and kept going. I stopped getting on scale at 157 and figure I probably went up further. .A1c jumped from 5.3 to 10.4. I no longer ate doughnuts like i did at 124 and switched to "healthy" oatmeal..lol to combat the weight I gained from the med. Switched to "healthy" whole grain pasta for lunch and dinner. Bananas and apples for a healthy snack. Fruit is good for you, right?? HA! Counted calories. CICO, IIFYM. NOTHIN worked. I was also an athlete and competed in kettlebell sport,powerlifitng and used to run marathons. Exercise was NOT WORKING. I could not lose. I tell my doctor I am worried about my weight gain. She tells me to cut down on Pasta. I do, but she neglects to tell me what to switch to. I change to salads with fat-free dressing. I lose a few lbs, but stall. I complain to my personal trainer who tells me to cut down even more on my carbs and switch to berries instead of bananas and an apple and tells me about intermittent fasting. I did Eat Stop Eat once before with success and 16:8 to get back to prepregnancy weight back in 2012. Worked great and then was able to maintain on 3 meals a day after, but this was before being put on a horrific medication. I start off slow 12:12 - April of 2018, and eventually go to 14:10 and then finally 16:8. Seeing even more lbs leave but it isn't working as fast as before and I am desperate to get back to my once lean and athletic body. This time I cut out all GRAINS from my diet as well as fruit. I do not know yet, but I am mostly doing keto. I look around the internet and read about keto. I throw out all my fat-free items and buy avocados by the dozen as well as coconut oil, butter, etc. I start off with dirty keto and actually reached goal with dirty keto by July of 2018 of 124. With keto kept losing and went under my goal by August- 116 lbs. Relapsed a bit in Jan of 2019 and went back up to 127lbs. Transitioned to strict keto with no artificial sweeteners and no fat bombs, and finally carnivore Keto/OMAD (at least 95% of the time, 5% usually on weekends I do regular keto) where I now feel the most comfortable. I have surpassed my goal. 30% bf in pic on left, 15% bf in pic on right and 112 lbs as of June 2019 to current. Maintaining.
