Dairy-Free Protein?

What are your favorite protein sources that are dairy-free? I am not 100% dairy free (I can have mild cheddar), but I have rosacea, and it acts up when I have too much milk protein. I have been drinking Premier Protein shakes this week with my coffee, and my skin is ANGRY.
Going dairy-free isn't super difficult, but it is when it comes to my protein. There aren't super great protein bar options (I like Clif Builder bars, but the sugar is a bit high), and I'm not a big meat eater. I do eat meat, just not a lot of it, and not enough to get my protein from that alone.

Sardines, tofu, edamame (good on-the-go snack), soy milk (I don't care for it but there is a significant amount of protein in it).1

Soy, seitan, beans, pea protein snacks1

Egg whites, vegan protein powder.1
-
Fish, other meats, eggs, beans and lentils, tofu or tempeh.1

I'd recommend this thread, which links to a spreadsheet that lists many, many protein sources by protein efficiency (most protein for fewest calories).

I'd almost guarantee it will have foods you enjoy that you can use to increase your non-dairy protein sources. The top part has lots of meats/fish/dairy, but there are veggie/fruit/miscellaneous sources further down the list, too.3 -

Awesome thanks!1 -
Thanks everyone for the suggestions! Looks like veggie or turkey chili is in my future. I always forget about beans like a dummy, since I tried to do low carb so many times.0

I have to say, when I wanted to get more protein and really didn't want to eat more meat than I already was, beans & lentils were game changers. Jacked up my fiber too (so add them slowly ). Also added more eggs and cans/pouches of tuna and salmon.2
