Take out Asian Food... because I developed an allergy to soy AND I have a medical condition that is food sensitive that it is a trigger for. That medical condition also means no Caffeine and a number of other things.1

Many things I don't eat as much anymore because self control is lacking, so if I do eat it I make peace with fact I will most likely eat entire container. Such as crisps or corn chips. I LOVE corn chips! Nutella, nutella with ice cream, pasta in copious quantities - I still eat pasta but I find it sad so measure out 100g cooked pasta, it doesn't even touch the sides.
Now those are all things I still eat on occasion.
Things that I would like to eat more of but for some stupid reason no longer tolerate properly - cauliflower, broccoli - basically any cruciferous vegetable. I just have to LOOK at a broccoli florette and I instantly look 5 months pregnant. Major bloating. Eggplant to an extent too.
Again, I still eat those things, but I can't eat them every day or all the time
Oh yeah and chew and spew chinese food - the MSG in it now makes me feel totally gross so I don't eat it unless i have no choice like someone's birthday or something.1 -
For some reason once I started dropping weight I found three things I like to eat that gas me a lot of pain with my gall bladder. Eggs, Nuts, and of all things Cauliflower. I miss the egss and nuts the most
cauliflower does that to me too. luckily not eggs coz I can devour half a dozen in one day easily.0 -
Vegetables, whoke grains, fruits, nuts, popcorn (thanks to Crohn's and gastroparesis)3

The one thing I miss is how often I would have a milkshake. They tend to be 700+ calories. Having a serving or two of Ice cream is just easier to fit in!
Definitely! I eat ice cream regularly and really have never been a huge milkshake fan anyway -- but since joining MFP I've had maybe two (in five and a half years). It's just not worth it to me.
I also drink everything really fast so a large malt would basically be a great way for me to get in many hundreds of calories in ten minutes...no thank you!2 -

It’s the straw. Drinks with straws are no bueno. I’ve invented the new diet for 2019, do not use straws.

True about straws - but I drink crazy fast even a huge mug of black coffee that is practically boiling. It's an unwanted talent!
I avoid most smoothies for similar reasons to above. For me it's like taking a pill full of calories because I drink too dang fast.

Also a T2D Pasta and all that lovely good tomato based sauces in almost any quantity spike the blood sugar so I no longer eat. Same for Pizza, white rice, brown does it as well. All bread is gone as well. Interestingly popcorn does not. And in the summer I can sneak in a fresh ear here and there.
But what I miss, and will eat no more as bad for me in every way. Snickers bars and Hostess Suzie Q's. Just plain garbage bad food, and I had bad control so I have decided I am in a better place without ever having again.

Celery. I love raw celery but about a year ago I had a full blown allergic reaction to it.
I can have some if it's cooked but that's not the same at all.

I eat what I want now, but there are several foods that I've phased out over several years--mostly processed, prepackaged stuff that I grew up eating and just kind of grew out of liking. And I've also recently tested positive for some food sensitivities, so I've given some things up because I don't like feeling bad.
-Soda--I might drink soda 2-3 times a year. I grew up in a family that all drank soda regularly but I gave it up years ago and now it just doesn't appeal to me.
-Package pasta salads like Suddenly Salad and Pasta Roni. I used to eat these once or twice a week.
-Bread--I'll still eat bread, but DH doesn't eat it and I can't use a whole loaf before it goes bad, so I don't buy it and rarely eat it.
-Hamburger helper and stuff like that. Again, used to eat this all the time, but now it's just greasy and gross.
-Ramen noodle soup packets
-Most juice; occasionally I'll have a glass of juice but it's pretty rare
-Pizza; I'm sensitive to dairy and wheat, so I only eat pizza when I'm at a party or something and its the only thing available and I'm hungry
-Dairy products because see above; I can have a bit of cheese once in awhile. I haven't given up ice cream--I just make my own out of coconut milk.
-Eggs, also sensitive to these. This has been the hardest because I used to eat hard-boiled eggs all the time
-Soy sauce, also sensitive to soy.
-Taco Bell. I swear I lived on Taco Bell in college, and it grosses me out now. I still eat fast food but there's only a couple places I'll go.

I really like hummus. I used to eat hummus, spinach and sundried tomato wraps for lunch. Hummus with crackers and veggies for snacks.
I randomly developed an allergy to chick peas about 3 years ago and I really miss eating them.1 -
ice cream ,cookies , cake , whole bars of chocolate & even steak (im afraid that butter is added to the cooking) , french fries :-(2
-
Flamin' Hot Limon Cheetos. Much too calorific.2
-
Peanut butter. I love it, and in ages past I would eat just a bowl of peanut butter and jelly.
Now I find it gives me indigestion, so I avoid it in all but minute quantities.0 -
The only thing I "can't" eat is quest bars because they make me constipated, but no loss there.0
-
Wife likes frozen desserts from Dairy Queen at least once a week. Due to my focus on losing weight I've switched from a Blizzard to a classic Orange Julius--which is OK but it's no Blizzard.0

Milk and over easy eggs.
I can eat cheese, yogurt, etc., but milk sends my guts into revolt.
Similarly, I can eat scrambled and hard boiled eggs, but over easy makes me queasy. Heh. Which makes me sad because I so love a runny yolk.0 -
The only thing I can't eat that I miss is a burger (Big Mac) or a burger from Red Robin. Every now & then I get a craving for a Big Mac, but I know if I eat one my stomach will be in revolt in a few hours/sometimes the next day.0

There's things that I don't get to eat much anymore because my HUSBAND can't eat them. lol. Chili or anything with a lot of beans, and anything with tomatos/tomato sauce. I have been craving pizza all week thanks to that pizza thread and I told him last night we're eating pizza for dinner tonight and then remembered tomato sauce hurts his stomach0

His stomach's not your stomach. Eat a damn slice of pizza.2 -

In future you could have pizza with pesto or alfredo sauce, so you could both enjoy it. Or, you know, get two smaller pizzas, one for each.0
