I'm in. My 4th round but starting over. In the last week, I have completely undone all the work I did in the last three rounds. Im going to look on the bright side - I can do this, I've done it before and I can do it again. I have tracked my weight every day for the past several years. On today's date one year ago, I was 22 lbs lighter. That is my goal for this next year. I love this challenge and reading all of the posts help support and motivate me. Looking forward to this round going into 2019. Good luck everyone. May we all be 22+ lbs lighter this time next year.
12/24: 177.0
12/25: 178.4 Still got too many leftovers in the house. Better start to this day. Family stuff is done so no excuses. Merry Christmas one and all.9 -

12/25=Same,We celebrate on Christmas Eve with many traditions that include Food but it is important to me that the grands learn all of them food,,only part of them.

ROUND 63 (Round 10 for me)
5’5” 66 y/o Texas Lady
SW 178 lb.
GW 135-140 lb.
Started Keto WOE on September 24th (2018). Still experiencing decreased arthritis hip and shoulder pain since the second week of Keto. Staying within calorie limits is easy enough, but not exceeding my carb limit is difficult. Per my KetoMojo meter, I’m in ketosis most of the time. Some of my NSVs: my wedding band fits, I wear smaller clothing, and my progress has encouraged my husband to try harder to end his cigarette habit.
Rounds 54 – 62 resulted in a cumulative loss of 27.2 lb.
Day/Weight/Comment
12/24 149.8 Finally below 150! I failed to attain my goal of less than 150 lb. in the last round, but here it is! Now I have to keep it going down. Yesterday was too busy to take a walk before dark, and walking our roads after dark is too dangerous—wild hogs, drunk drivers, etc. This afternoon should be perfect for a walk. First, I have to pick up a pecan pie (and discipline myself to have one bite each day when my husband has a slice), and I have to trade my nephew’s gift out—I realized I dropped off the bag with new wigs for my mother-in-law instead of his toy. Oops! He’d probably have fun with the wigs, but they’ll look better on her.
12/25 149.6 I plan to eat popcorn today, so I expect a little gain tomorrow. (I hope it’s little.) Thor, my GSD, and I had a nice 4 mile walk with cloudy, but comfortable weather. He’s a great walking companion, and he loves going with me. We saw my husband’s kids Saturday and won’t see mine until this coming Sunday. It seems a little strange not rushing around to make last minute preparations for company, but it’s nice, too. We decided to take it easy today—see a movie, eat out, celebrate each other, and, especially, celebrate the birth or our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! Merry Christmas to all!

12/24 – 135 - 1674
I confess, I've gone crazier with baked goods this Christmas than I have since I started this journey 4 years ago. And that's ok, and I'll let myself eat today and tomorrow. But then I'm getting back on track with another elimination diet round. Although I didn't think the elimination diet I followed last fall made much difference, my pain has increased since I started this food free-for-all for the holidays, and that tells me that food is a factor. I'm considering the past month a reset. Not to re-lose the extra 5 pounds and get healthy. But merry Christmas Eve, those who celebrate, and happy everything to everyone else!
12/25 – 135
Merry Christmas to those who celebrate the holiday, and may the spirit of this season of holidays touch us all.

12/25 - unable to weigh in as I am not at home. Had breakfast followed by traditional Toblerone and glass of Champagne. Late rising and son rose even later. He is only now cooking Christmas dinner for the two if us

Day/Weight/Comment
12/24 150.6 (-0.4 from yesterday, -0.4 from round start) Ah, giving myself a little tiny drop to start off. I won't be weighing about food for the next couple days, and I have a dinner out with friends on the 29th and on the 1st, and NYE is generally spent "grazing" snacky things. So I know going into this that this round is almost certainly ending in a gain, and I'm okay with that. A pound or two up won't derail my overall progress and I'm alright with there being some "food traditions" that we stick to.
12/25 150.4 (-0.2 from yesterday, -0.6 from round start) I'm sure it'll be up tomorrow. I'm thoroughly enjoying my stocking goodies, and just lounging around enjoying my gifts - and enjoying watching my people enjoy their gifts.

12/24 - Out of town
12/25 - 87.9 kg (193.7 lbs)
Yesterday I was out of town and I took many carbs, sugar and fat... Today I went to my dietitian for the second time. It looks like I lost 1.2 kg (2.6 lbs) fat and gain 1kg (2.2 lbs) muscle in a week. She said that it might be wrong so we'll decide according to next weigh in. My first week with diet isn't great, however, I really decreased my calorie intake a lot. I hope I really lost weight.
12/26 - 87.8 kg (193.5 lbs) (before bathroom)
Yesterday was not bad, however, I cannot eat according to diet. It's hard to eat regularly in my irregular life. Sometimes I work at home sometimes I work at university and sometimes at cafe/library.

That tempting festive food, so tasty on the lips,
has decided to stay around a while upon my aching hips.
So it's back upon the treadmill to huff and puff and sweat.
When you enjoy the piper, you have to pay the debt.
🎄 Boxing Day Greetings 🎄- Let's face it! We are all human.
- Christmas is a time for celebration. We can CHOOSE whether or not to indulge.
- As long as we do so in moderation, there shouldn't be too much damage.
- Indulgence has it's consequences, but they are only temporary.
- Own them, and get back on track.

THERE ARE NO QUICK FIXES OR SHORTCUTS to achieve permanent change.
REMINDERS One or two thoughts which might give heart to some of you.- Daily weight fluctuations are normal, and can be as much as 2 lbs a day for no apparent reason.
- A general downward trend is what we are looking for.
- Eating out can cause apparent weight gain because of high sodium levels, but usually goes quickly. Drinking extra water helps with this.
- The human body does not react instantly to what we do to it. Sometimes it can take several days to see results.
- Plateaus are a normal part of the process. The body is consolidating and adapting to your new way of eating/exercising.
- The closer you get to your goal weight, the more difficult it becomes to lose weight, as your body becomes more efficient at using what you feed it.
- When you exercise you build muscle, which takes up less space than fat, so use measurements as well as weight to assess your progress.
- Getting/Staying fit and healthy requires a lifestyle change for most people.

I’ve been in maintenance for several months until the holidays, content at around 146. I am now OVER the point at which I didn’t want to be again (150), so I’ll be getting back on track to lose back down to at least around 146 or so.
