I've been working out semi-regularly for just over three years. I've lost half my body mass, and get bored. Heh. I've been trying push-ups since December 1, 2018. All that month I was trying to do full push-ups, and I was cranking out 2 or 3. This month, I've gone to my knees. I figure a month or so at that before graduating to big-girl push-ups, lol!
This month, I've done 12 - 15 push-ups a day, so far, this morning included. Jan 1 - 9, 12 each = 108. Jan 10 - 16, 15 each = 105. Total this month: 213!
I guess my goal right now is 10 real push-ups.
Crunches? Ain't gonna happen. I had an abdominal surgery, ended up with MRSA, now have calcification in my abdomen. I HAVE been laying on the ground, lifting and holding my feet to different "clock positions" as well as using the vertical ab machines at the gym. Lying on the ground and sitting up is a definite no-go for now, hopefully that will change as I build the muscles some.
This month, I also found a squat challenge. I find these challenges help me keep myself accountable.
