I'm around 8 stone and would like to build muscle. On average how much protein and carbs would I need. Healthy fats are very important for my wellbeing so I may have to tweak amounts slightly but a rough guide or advice on the best place to start. I am a 36 year old female at 5ft 3, petite frame, already lean apart from abdominal area. I walk lots and have access to things to help build strength and muscle. As for meals the healthier and more natural the better

MFP will tell you. set it to gain 0.5lb per week.2

120-125g of protien
45g of fat
Fill the remainder with carbs would be reasonable targets assuming you are carnivorous.
