wow...a lot of negative comments. I just found it interesting but next time I'll just keep to myself. no point in posting opinions if everyone's goal is to tear you a new one.
As my Mom always used to say "if you don't have anything nice to say, then don't say anything at all".
You want ensure you got your daily dose of effYou? Rip the author, not me...

It's January. Lots of newbies on the forum. We're not tearing you a new one, we are just pointing out that the information you quoted is false.
We say something, as opposed to nothing because new people should learn from other peoples mistakes. I've done silly diets myself.
Any time you see a post about the "blood type diet" the "horoscope diet" or other nonsense, some one here should point out that it's woo (nonsense).22 -

With all the "woo"'s you got on that post, it might seem like people are being negative. But really they are just pointing out that science has proven that the article isn't worth the time it took someone to type it.
I didn't add to the woo list, but the fact is that the article has little, if any, basis in fact. I think with the new year here people want to make sure that people don't buy into the click bait stuff.9 -
My bariatric program had me on no more than 3 meals a day - they told us we are not cows so we don't graze. My psychologist says I need to eat smaller amounts more frequently as I deal with 2 eating disorders...I say whatever works for you - trial and error I guess haha!3

If you're eating frequently, staying within your calorie limit, yet gaining weight, you probably have a hefty bowel movement coming up.4

I get my fair share of woo's - it goes with the turf. Don't believe I've given a woo - it took me a while to figure out what they were. Thanks for the reminder.3

A quick keyword search of “meal frequency” in the MFP discussion boards would have fully prepared you for the response you received. Nobody here is being particularly uncivil with their comments, but posts like these tend to lead to all sorts of misinformation so it’s best to nip them in the bud before there’s an influx of people stressing about trivial things such as meal timing.

Well, that and telling someone that the information they're sharing is inaccurate, is not the same thing as being mean.17

I believed this myth for many years.. hence I was a chubster6

And to please, please, please report posts that you feel are trolling or attacking or otherwise violating the guidelines but do not then also engage.7
