I drink my coffee black. I used to log it but it’s minimal calories so I stopped. Does anyone log their morning black coffee? Does it matter if I do? I also don’t log my tea if I drink it.

I don't drink coffee, but I don't log my tea. I do log the milk and sugar I add.

If I drank mine black I probably wouldn't worry about the 2 calories either, but since I add protein powder and stuff, I do.

I do, but I drink anywhere from 8 to 20 ounces/day, sometimes with creamer (which I also log) and sometimes black. I also log my gummy vitamins. I figure everything adds up.

I only log what I drink it with (usually protein shakes or protein powder).

No coffee here, but I drink plenty of tea and have never logged it. If I put something with calories in my tea, then I log that.

I log my 2 calories LOL. doens't make any difference in the long run, but I just like to see complete meals on there and coffee is part of my meal.
  • I don't log my black coffee, my pre-workout, or my monster zero ultra. Its so minimal I can't be bothered anymore - I used to log all 3, and then one day i stopped and a few weeks in I realized it didn't affect my goals so I didn't after that

Since I drink the coffee everyday it's no trouble to log ìt -- it's always there in my recent foods. But it doesn't matter if you don't. I started doing out because I was teaching potassium, and coffee has a decent amount, especially if you drink a lot.

I don't log it but probably should as I have milk and sugar, I do log sachets of premixed though, those little devils can be 80cals +, I used to drink 3 or 4 a day until I found that out!

I measure out and log my milk for the day and use some for coffee but I don't log the coffee.

When I drink it I log it just because I feel silly seeing just the tiny amount of milk sitting there in my diary, but that's a weird "me" thing.

There are other minimal calorie things I don't log like sugar free gum, and it hasn't made much of a difference, if any.

I have a whole category for coffee logging. And alcohol. 😆

Black coffee drinker and no I don’t - even the occasional milky coffee (usually when I’m offered one and forget to tell someone no milk). But I’m currently on low low calories 1200-1400/day so figure an extra bit doesn’t matter - if I was maxing out my calories everyday then I would log the milky ones but still not the black

When I started out I logged everything with calories.
But noticed I was pretty consistent so put things like tea and coffee into one of my "meals" in my diary and used the quick tools/copy yesterday function to copy over my regular 6 cups of tea and 1 cup of coffee.

On a side note I did the same sort of averaging with some of my irregular but significant in terms of calories non-exercise activity (such as 4hrs of heavy duty gardening) and simply bumped my activity setting up a notch to simplify logging.

Had no impact on my results over time but how granular you want to be is very personal. How granular you need to be is also influenced by your overall calorie allowance too. I had a pretty high daily allowance (including a lot of exercise) so a few calories here or there was insignificant.

I don't, I drink it black with a pkt of splenda.

I log it simply because I add sugar to it. Since I drink it daily, it's usually at my frequent foods section. I do not log my tea which I drink without sugar.

I don't log the coffee, but I estimate the milk. (Husband makes the coffee and puts a splash of milk in our mugs, and I weighed it once and realized I'm overestimating a bit when I enter the calories, but that's fine by me if I don't have to futz with the routine.)

I drink my tea and coffee black too but I still log them. Really just because I like to be able to see everything I've consumed, not because i'm concerned about the odd calorie from them.

I log everything. Coffee included. It's easy for me as I drink it black.

I do, but because I'm tracking my potassium and coffee is a good source.
