Height: 5'4"
Total weight lost: About 43 pounds
Time it took to lose: 1 year and 2 months
How long in maintenance: I hit my goal weight in the beginning of January 2018, but officially started maintenance in mid-March 2018 after figuring out my calories for a couple of months.
Maintenance weight range: 108-111.5
Average weight recorded from 2018 (12 months): 109.8
Average weight recorded from January: 111

February 2: 111.3 (trend 111)
February 9: 110.6 (trend 110.8)
February 16: 111.1 (trend 110.9)
February 23: 110.1 (trend 110.4)
Success(es)/struggle(s) of the week: I'm definitely more pleased with both my trending and average weights this week as compared to the past several weeks (when I was at the high end of my range). Approaching the middle of the range again, and hoping that it'll stay around there. I've been slacking off a bit in the effort that I'm putting into my workouts, so I'm going to try my best to put more effort into my workouts instead of the bare minimum.8 -

Successes/struggles: Bit of a struggle to keep up activity and not graze this week due to being off work, but managed some good exercise wins towards the end of the week - more progress with running, a really strong bootcamp class - and so turned around a bad start to the week. The sun is shining here in London and that is having a massive impact on my mood - hopefully spring has sprung!
Wishing you all a great week x9 -

Successes: Ate a healthy breakfast every day. Ate a healthy lunch 4 out of 5 work days. Stuck with twice a week yoga. Went to Chick Fil A for dinner with extended family and chose a salad with grilled chicken.
Challenges: Caved in to emotional post dinner snacking most nights this week. Also struggled to fit in six days of exercise but scraped in five. Got in two yoga classes, one long walk, two stationary bike workouts but one was only 15 minutes the only time I had on a busy day. Gained a pound after gaining two pounds last week.
My biggest learning based on this week is that maintenance is just more of what I’ve already learned from my weight loss. There will be tough weeks and there will be setbacks. But the point is to keep on doing what works. Keep on weighing in every week, keeping a food log every day, planning ahead for exercise and meals, make adjustments as needed, and most importantly, DON’T GIVE UP or bury my head in the sand. So thank you group for giving me a forum to NOT go into denial and stay accountable. I still have a deep-seated fear that I will gain the weight back. But every time I’ve done that, it didn’t just happen overnight. It happened because I stopped trying and then pretended it didn’t matter. This time I’m not giving up over a few small setbacks.7 -

Success/Struggles: Yay, one year maintenance anniversary! So weird - for the past 5 days my weight has been 105.1, exactly. I got suspicious this morning and got on the scale with two 5 lb. weights, and it read 111.1, so it doesn't seem like a problem there. And yet...
Wishing everyone a successful upcoming week!10 -
So weird - for the past 5 days my weight has been 105.1, exactly. I got suspicious this morning and got on the scale with two 5 lb. weights, and it read 111.1
I’ve done the same exact thing when that’s happened! Definitely confusing to see the same exact weight several days in a row!
Just curious though - did it read 111.1 or 115.1? If it read 111.1, you may have a calibration problem still since you had added 10lbs of extra weight... unless I read that wrong...

Haha - you're right! Maths before coffee should be against the law! The weights i was using are 3 lbs. each. I just weighed myself and I weigh 106.5, so it doesn't seem like the scale is stuck. Can't wait for tomorrow's weigh-in6 -

Successes: Holding Steady at 114. I don't have one of the digital scales that weigh in tenths of a pound. I've been at this for a long time and continue to track CICO and exercise daily to maintain.
Rapid change in temp today from 46 degrees F to 31 with a wind chill of 15. Grilled chicken outside at noon...and now snow covered, so my exercise was indoors, yet again. Today's virtual hikes had me in Miami South Beach and Singapore. Looking forward to spring in western NY so I can get back outside.8 -

February 24: 145 scale, 146.1 trend
Success(es)/struggle(s) of the week: good week for me, pretty stable except a couple of days when the weight went up a bit. I find that Libra is very quick to bump the trend numbers up because of the silly fluctuation, but way too slow to go back down after it returns to normal. It's kind of annoying. Weather is beautiful, using bike for daily commute to work, which makes up my exercise for the workdays. Finally was able to squeeze in a decent 32 mile ride yesterday, so happy about it. I use my old mountain bike to commute, so if feels great to ride road bike. I wish i had more time to do what i want (and what i need to do as well).9 -

Successes/struggles: Happy to be towards the end of my first month of maintenance and doing well. Yoga 5 times this week and downhill skiing yesterday with my 19 year old son. Feeling stronger physically each month and happy. I hope to continue this trend! This week maintenance seemed so much easier than losing weight.7 -

February 26 - March 4:
Success of the week: My scale stayed within my maintenance range six days this week (last Tuesday was the only bounce out). My trending weight has continued to stay in my maintenance range for over four weeks -- since January 26. It had been out of my goal range since December 2 before that.
Struggle of the week: My scale weight was over my maintenance range one day this week. I got to less than half a pound of my ultimate goal weight, but bounced back up this morning.
In reality, I am doing just fine.
Thanks to everyone for the encouragement and support.7 -

February 17: 115.0 scale/ 115.7 trend
February 24: 115.4 scale/ 114.9 trend
Success(es)/struggle(s) of the week: My weight was kind of low this week. But it is back up to 115.4 this morning after dropping as low as 113.4 on Friday and being in the 113-114 range all week. My trend dropped down to 114.9 which is lower than my set maintenance range. But my "healthy" weight range is 106-142, so I'm not worried about it. I'm not trying to go lower, but I don't think that I am too low either. I feel good and I think I look good. I wouldn't even think much about it at all because I know that weight will go up and down, but it causes others to worry about my weight. I still find it kind of surprising that when I was over 50 pounds over weight no one was ever concerned about how much I weighed, but being 7-10 pounds above the underweight range is a cause for concern. I feel good about how much I eat and about my activity level though.10 -

February 10: 122.8
February 17: 122
February 24: 123
Success / Struggles: Not too much to report -- daytime eating has been okay, but I've been snacking at night. I really try not to eat anything after dinner, but I've been "carbing it up" in the evenings. I've been up late working on all sorts of projects, so I've been hungry. Going to make sure I do projects and tasks upstairs -- away from the kitchen -- for the next few nights! Usually, this strategy helps me "reset" my evening routine.
In a few months, I will be in year two of maintenance. I still always find myself battling the same habits: eating standing up, snacking in the evening, eating when I'm stressed, and eating at the computer. I've come to expect these habits will come up from time to time, but I wish they would just magically disappear!10 -

Success(es)/struggle(s) of the week: The scale went up a bit more this last week but I'm still within my weight range, so it's alright I was a bit sick and I couldn't workout for like 2 weeks, but I overate for 2 days and the water weight didn't want to leave so easily, so my weight is still a bit on the high side, but I tried no to freak out when I saw I gained 1.5 kg in 2 days, so I guess this is a success...8 -
